Reviews
Royal India Ristorante Indiano in Florence is truly a five-star dining experience, offering a delicious escape into authentic Indian cuisine right in the heart of Italy. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfectly setting the stage for a memorable meal.
The food itself was superb. We particularly enjoyed the rich, aromatic curries and the freshly baked naan—everything was prepared to perfection, bursting with authentic flavor and spice.
However, what truly elevated our evening was the service provided by our waiter, Inderpal Singh. Inderpal was nothing short of excellent. He was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, offering spot-on recommendations. He ensured our table was taken care of without ever being intrusive, demonstrating a professionalism and charm that made us feel like honored guests. His wonderful service is a massive credit to the restaurant.
If you are in Florence and craving high-quality Indian food served with outstanding hospitality, you absolutely must visit Royal India and ask for Inderpal Singh. Highly, highly recommended!
The manager really knows his customer which is rare for an Indian restaurants abroad. Staff is friendly, prices justified taste and proportion, and the special compliments to the chef- food were delicious and felt authentic.
I had samosa chaat, egg curry with rice, and khichdi- the food can be adjusted to your taste.
They also served traditional pickles along with a variety of chutneys, which were absolutely delicious. The service was excellent, and the restaurant ambiance was very pleasant. Prices are reasonable for the quality offered.
Overall, a great experience. I highly recommend this place.
The vegetarian biryani was great too!
(Apart from the rest of the other indian restaurants abroad -which is mostly curry mixed with rice).
The staff was warm, kind, and very nice with their recommendations!
I’m glad I randomly ran into this restaurant which turned out to be one of the best food experiences
Our company had a fantastic time there just a couple of nights ago.
Authentic Indian cuisine in Italy? Why not! Especially if you’re a bit tired of pizzas, pastas, and paninis—or simply craving something different. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the prices were fair. We went for the spicier dishes toward the end, and we absolutely loved it!
