My friend chose this restaurant and told me that it was given great reviews and credit to be one of the most delicious Indian restaurants in Europe. Well, I haven’t tried all of restaurants in Europe but it is one of my top 3 Indian restaurants in Netherlands and Belgium area. Tender tandoori chicken, perfect cook lamb biryani, and mixed vegetables curry. Naan is the best!! I will come back to Ghent to dine in this restaurant.

I went to eat with a friend. We enjoyed every single bite, we were completely full at the end! Before we ate we shared the vegetarian samosas, the size of these were enormous For our main dish I ordered the Chana Chicken with Indian spices and my friend ordered Mango Chicken which were both delicious. We shared the garlic naan which was also very tasty and so soft The service was amazing as well, everybody was so polite and friendly. I can’t wait to go back again!!

The Royal Fish Masala was absolutely amazing — the spice balance and heat level were just perfect!
The mango juice was so tasty!
It’s also a nice detail that the rice is served for free.
The staff were very attentive, and it was such a kind gesture that the owner came at the end to ask if everything was okay.
I’ll definitely come back again soon!

Tasted chicken tikka masala, lamb vindaloo, chicken tikka biryani, garlic cheese bread and some pakora in addition to mango lassi.
Everything tasted good, friendly service and helpful staff.

Royal India Restaurant in Ghent was a mixed experience. We had to wait around 1.5 hours for the food, which was quite long. The dishes themselves were okay and tasty, but some portions felt a bit small for the price. Decent food, but service timing could improve.
