We live a short distance away so we have tried them from time to time over several years.
When it’s good it’s really great, subtle, delicious, but when it’s not it’s bland and mediocre. It has been so good that I have tried to talk with employees about how variable it is. Who was the chef on a given night – that sort of thing. But my input has been received with disinterest. As a business I hoped they would welcome feedback, but such has not been the case.
It can be so good it’s sublime – but on the off nights, you would not consider returning. It’s really hit or miss. Too bad.

Excellent food, very tasty. Portions are quite large. We usually do take-out here so I cannot comment on dine-in. The alu saag is decadent, very rich and flavorful. Naan is not overcooked and dried out as I have experienced many other places. The Tika masala is also one of our favorites. Compared to other Indian restaurants around Royal India is the best. The vegetables are wonderful. Fortunately the cook(s) know enough that vegetables should not be “cooked” to mush. My guess is the other “bad” reviews were written by the competitors.

Very Tasty Food. Both veg and non veg are tasting good. Not rating 5 star because rice is not maintained hot and same is for chicken biryani. I strongly recommend this place for Indian Food. What else needed for 9$ buffet.

I had to take few guests to a Indian Restaurant yesterday, so I took there because it was close. I ordered Veg. Jalfrezy, I surprised when I saw frozen vegetable (Plus another surprise, there was cauliflower too, I dont know if it comes in frozen vegetable packet itself or additional added) cooked totally in Chili powder. Unbelievable Indian Dish, I didnt even imagine somewhere in the world Vegetable Jalfrezy is just boiled frozen vegetable mixed in Red Chili Powder.

Not very good at all. There are multiple places that have much better food and decor and they are the same price. This place wouldn’t be bad if it was cheaper than the other places, or if they marketed themselves as fast food indian. I just wouldn’t recommend it for the price.
