The flavor of every dish is absolutely incredible. Waiter was good about refilling water. I enjoy ordering and paying via my phone as it gives me more control of my own time. The waiter packed up all of our leftovers for us when we were done. easy 5 stars

This place is really good. I will be coming back for sure. The flavors are on point. I wish the fried rice was a bigger serving but the rest of the dishes were a good size. Decor and branding is very cute. Can’t wait to try more food from the menu.

Pretty good, everything was very flavorful and came out super hot. You order on your food and order goes directly to kitchen and comes out really fast. Good for in between classes. The spicy beef soup was very good as well as the dumplings

Genuinely, this is one of the best places I have ever had in my entire life. My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this restaurant by accident and had to go back because everything is so amazing. The food is delicious, the service is fast and prompt. The ambiance is wonderful and calming, they are so attentive. We have been there twice now (only because it is a bit far from us), we have brought our friends, we talk about it all the time. I don’t know how they are not packed with customers. Even their take out packaging is great! I cannot rant about this place enough. We get their spicy soup and dumplings every time- they are WONDERFUL.

They stapled all their food. I found one staple in the food. I have been a loyal customer for years. I called the restaurant and the front desk person who hung up on me. I think Chicago health inspector should inspect this restaurants safety issues.

I was really looking forward to trying Royal Highness Zhu. I will say that the food was alright. It seemed like some of the dishes like the vegetable hot pot was not cooked all the way through and the sizzle sausage fried rice did not have any sausage in it. That is really disappointing. I will say the best dish I had was the zhong dumplings. The taste was really on point. I did make a reservation and the male server/ host was really rude and did not accept my reservation. That same male server told me that he was too busy too for a few requests we had. I am not sure if it was me but, he just seemed very rude. I will say the ambiance or atmosphere was really nice. I will say give royal highness zhu a chance and for sure ask someone how to order as the menu system was kind of strange to me.

Delicious SiChuan Chinese food. It’s a theme restaurant about the history of Chengdu. The dolls from SanXingDui are adorable! I like the atmosphere and the house decorating. It deserves a try!

Straight up phenomenal southwestern Chinese food.

Everything we got was an absolute hit, the prices were very reasonable and service was wonderful.

This is also a very vegetarian friendly restaurant with lots of tofu options that aren’t just an afterthought

Definitely order their dumpling appetizer, its so worth it. Also the volcano noodles sound spicy but really aren’t, so don’t worry!

I went on Wednesday during lunch time, not much people but most of the table got reserved. The decorations really nice. The sever was very friendly and the food came out quick. I was surprised. My husband love the “ Wide glass noodles”, it really chewy. Recommend this place and everyone should try it

If it helpful to you, please give me a . Thank youuu ❤️

Overall Thoughts: The food here tasted good with traditional Chengdu spices and flavors, but the total was quite pricey considering the smaller portion sizes. Also, as someone with only a so-so spice tolerance, I found the flavors overall quite mild (maybe that was just for the specific dishes we ordered, though). The interior is decorated nicely— very minimalist, sleek, and modern. The online ordering system they have is a little confusing and sometimes glitches out if you’re ordering with a group, but everything went smoothly in the end. Overall, despite the higher prices, I’d be happy to come to RHZ again with a large group of people to try out more dishes on their menu, or even stop by their other take-out only location in Bridgeport (called 大毛家).

Food I tried:
– Fiery Spicy Fries (4.2/5): These were quite flavorful with a decent kick to them, but weren’t as crispy as I would’ve hoped.

– Signature Spicy Beef Noodles (4.2/5): This was solid, and has all the traditional hearty, umami flavors of Chinese beef noodle soup.

– Glass Noodle Hot Pot (4.1/5): Not as spicy as I would’ve hoped but still a solid dish, especially for vegetarians. It was pretty monotone / undiversified though, as it’s mainly just glass noodles.

– Vegetable Symphony Hot Pot (4.2/5): I liked this hot pot option better than the glass noodles, as it was more varied in textures and ingredients.

– Firecracker Pig Trotters (4.7/5): Probably my favorite dish out of everything we ordered. The feet were remarkably tender and flavorful, filled with delicious collagen.

– Wonton in Volcano Broth (4.3/5): I liked this dish too; the wontons tasted fresh and the soup was flavorful and slightly sweet. However, I wished the wontons were bigger— the skin-to-filling ratio was off.

– Glutinous rice cake with brown sugar (4.2/5): Pricey for the fact that it only came with 3 and were pretty small, but they tasted good— sweet and crispy.
