It’s the Port Royal! What is not to love. Been coming here for about 30 years. Their restaurant is awesome. Breakfast, lunch or dinner will be a treat. The staff is always a pleasure and brings back the best memories.

For a hotel restaurant, not too shabby; very nice views, great service, better than average breakfast options, along with the usuals.
My breakfast burrito was a medium-sized package of eggs, (lots of) chorizo and onions, with a side serving of excellent guacamole and small cup of fruit. An above average breakfast burrito with interesting flavors and balance.
The bright main room is basic, and laid out with simple tables scattered and placed to take advantage of the big windows with nice views to the ocean. There’s outdoor seating too on the small outer terrace that overlooks the bike path. Those views earn it an extra star, cause really this is a very nice, competent diner/cafe at heart with good food at reasonable prices.
I had dinner there the following evening and everything was just as good; my glazed salmon was perfectly cooked and service was fantastic — everyone from the hostess to the waitress to the server.

Visited today, for the first time, to enjoy breakfast and had an excellent experience. The food was fantastic including blueberry pancakes with fresh blueberry and perfectly made French toast. The staff were wonderful too. Our waitress was excellent asking if we need coffee refills and how our meal was. We had a large group and all of our orders came out perfect. I highly recommend trying this location for breakfast where you will be welcomed by a friendly staff who are always smiling. We will certainly return on our next visit.

Everything was exceptional. My family and I ate here almost every day. We enjoyed the friendly service, delicious food, and sitting outside in the shade with a nice breeze to enjoy our meals. For breakfast, I always got the French toast with ham. For dinner (only dined one night) I had the filet mignon, it does come with shrimp and crab meat but I don’t eat seafood. However my mother said it was delicious. For lunch I had a hot dog. Everything was great!! Special shout-out to Amy and Sandy for serving us several times!

9.2/10 – For the past 4-5 years, every family dinner in Wildwood has been at Royal Grille. We’ve been consistently frequenting the restaurant cause well…they’re consistently excellent. The atmosphere is more than pleasant with ocean and beach views while also touting the accessibility to accommodate my particularly large family. The service is always on point with friendly, attentive staff, but the food is the real reason we return. Whether it’s the eggplant crepes with the softest marinara or the creamiest shrimp and scallop risotto, we’ve always been served superb plates at great value.
Our last visit blew me out of the water which led to this very review. I got the special – veal saltimbocca. And yes, it was absolutely special. While from above it may not appear to be appetizing, do not judge a saltimbocca by its cover. It was tender, tasty, and had an large chunk of bone marrow in the cut that made this an unforgettable dish.
Go to Royal Grille with your family. You don’t just get a fabulous dinner, you get a memory.

Took a 7 minute walk from where we were staying to try this place out for the first time. BEST food we have had since we got here for vacation. The food is so fresh and comes out hot. We got the skillet with added fresh jalapeños and a side of scrapple thin cut extra crispy. Every bit of our food was made to perfection. It was DELICIOUS! They have lots of seating options both indoor and outdoor. Service was great and servers were extremely friendly and the staff operates with customer service as top priority. Will definitely be back! This will be a regular spot for us when we come down to the shore. Thank you for serving great food and great service. Wish more places were operating like this. Our food was well worth the $51 we paid.

We needed a quick take -out dinner because of our littles. The hostess was polite and fun. The food was great! Our daughters liked their penne. My wife and I liked our fried chicken sandwiches. We will be trying breakfast there soon.

Even though this is a hotel restaurant don’t let that fool you. High end food here with moderate pricing. Every time I have been here it is wonderful.
From breakfast to steaks to seafood. The is a wide variety to their fare. It has a nice open atmosphere with outdoor seating available and beautiful view of the beach. Highly recommend!
