This place was on my must-try list, and it didn’t disappoint! Chef Elmy and his team are incredibly courteous — he even offered me a warm bowl of soup while taking my order. His truck proudly says “no processed food,” and he truly stands by it. The gyro meat was flavorful, the sides were amazing (especially the roasted eggplant), and everything tasted fresh and homemade.
The truck’s motto, “The Art of Cooking,” really shines through his food. Chef Elmy may be straightforward, but he’s passionate and wants you to truly enjoy his world of flavors. Highly recommend stopping by!

The owner is an extremely kind person who is passionate and loves to feed you! He made everyone’s meals a little different and unique and even gave us free okra at the end. Finish your plate or else!

Chef elmy changed our lives. I walked up to the truck and was immediately greeted with a hot bowl of vegetable soup. Hardly any words were exchanged but an offering was given so quickly. I immediately could read his desire to feed and care for the people who eat his food. We didn’t really order, he just asked if chicken and gyro were good so we said of course. Moments later he comes back with generously portioned and beautifully plated meals. He told us to eat then pay after. He also gave us a couple of waters. Mind you, water, entree, soup all was $16 ea. Elmy is humorous, sweet, and generous. I would recommend this place to anyone. Such delicious and flavorful food too! There were some folding tables and chairs outside of the food truck shaded by the trees.

Wow, I was completely blown away by my experience here. The food was spectacular, the service was phenomenal, and the overall experience was legendary.
Before I could order, he handed me a bowl of soup..I said I did not order yet and he said this is your medicine. I am not sure what was in the soup but it was delicious.
I got the falafel, and the portions were huge! The guy(owner?) was the kindest, funniest, and most humble man I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. I did not think I could eat it all but I gladly stuffed it all in.
I am crushed that it took me this long to visit this truck, but now I will be coming back at least once a week.
I give it 6 out of 5 stars if I could. Highly recommend.

Visiting from Toronto, this unassuming food truck is one of the most memorable meals I’ve had. The owners made us feel at home and sides were free!!
We ordered the seafood which wasn’t shown on the menu so we were pleasantly surprised. Came with fish, shrimp, sausage, a side of rice/slaw/bread/deep fried zucchini. Price was amazing for the quality and portions were HUGE for our group of 3. We were struggling to finish. The owner told us the fish was fresh from Egypt and everything was seasoned perfectly. The owners even came out to give us extra sides.
Don’t expect the typical ordering experience here, you’ll get food you didn’t ask for. Will definitely come back if I’m in the Bay Area again!

Chef Elmy’s “Royal Egyptian Cuisine” is a must. Anything you order will be delicious and be portioned generously. His menu offers occasional “Specials” that will be out of this world. Elmy himself is a character and has a big heart. His attitude is old fashioned and very caring. Dont misunderstand him. His heart is as big as the deliciousness of his menu. Please visit at least once.

Absolutely amazing! While the food is tasty, what you are opting for is the dining experience. The owner is remarkably hospitable and offers a lot of interesting sides/small dishes, like soup and salad… and makes you feel like you are invited to dine at their home.
We ordered an off-menu “seafood for two”, and we were amazed by the amount of food, and the affordable price! The food is very flavorful and a bit spicy, and the owner offered complimentary bottles of water. They even played some soothing background music to elevate the dining experience. Overall, this is just not an ordinary food truck, and I regretted not coming sooner.

This was some of the best food I’ve had in the Bay Area. It felt like I was brought into someone’s home and they fed my soul. I did the “feed me vegetarian” and my partner did the “feed me carnivore”. We got amazing delicious plates of food, customized to our dietary needs. The chef was so kind and interactive. We truly felt cared for and well fed…a total awesome experience. When my friends come to the Bay Area I will take them here. Absolutely would recommend!!!
