I have been on a kick to go out of my way to support small businesses. I’ve driven by Royal Donuts and Burger when I drive my teenage daughter to/fro work on the weekends, but have never stopped by. Today, I decided to take her and my two other kids there to lunch after I picked her up from work.
It was easy to find a parking spot. I noticed two other cars in their drive thru while we walked up to the store. We ordered the Royal Burger Special: 1/4 pound burger with all of the fixings (lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo or ketchup), french fries, a 16 oz drink and your choice of either a cake or glazed donut. You can also make it a cheeseburger or a double cheeseburger. I got mine with cheese, one kid got one with ketchup only, and another kid chose a double cheeseburger with Swiss cheese and mayo and ketchup only. I asked if they could grill the onions for my burger and they said yes. We were there later in the afternoon, so we chose 2 glazed donuts and 1 chocolate cake donut from what was available. We ordered two Cokes from the fountain dispenser, an iced coffee (for an up charge with the combo) and also grabbed two chocolate milks from the self serve beverage coolers.
I was really impressed with the variety in the beverage cooler! I took a picture to post with my review.
We waited a short amount of time for our food. Maybe 5-10 minutes? It was really quick. And very delicious! The hamburgers are in sesame seed buns and remind you what a 1/4 pound burger should look like. The French fries were steak cut and perfectly salted and hot! For the price you pay, the combo was definitely worth it! The donuts were tasty, and a great dessert after the meal.
I’m definitely coming back to try their other products. They accept cash and card. I think there is a minimum of $6 to use a card, but no additional surcharge like other places.

Classic donut shop like what I grew up with in LA, but sooo much better because they’re open until 7 and have a drive through. I’ve been earlier in the day and right before close and some how the donuts still taste fluffy and delicious!
The owners are so nice and you can tell they truly care about the quality for their customers!! The glaze is consistent and creamy on all the donuts! The donuts them selves are moist and soft and never dry!
We love coming here and highly recommend! Best maple bar and old fashioned.

Donuts are one of my favorite treats. I’m so glad this restaurant always has some left after peak donut hours. The bathroom is quite dark, I had to use my phone’s flashlight. Other than that, they have other yummy options like breakfast sandwiches, burgers, and blended beverages.
Last time my partner and I stopped for a pre-game night dinner. We both got the burger meal with fries, a donut, and a drink. They allowed my to replace the soda with a blended green tea, and it was delightful!

Been going there for years and it’s so refreshing that the food hasn’t changed. Best donuts, always fresh and yummy. Burgers and fries are the best, again always fresh and delicious, best quality. Just went after not going for a couple of years and so pleased it hasn’t changed. Drive through is an extra plus! Highly recommend going, will be very pleased and sweet tooth pleased, or burger craving satisfied.

Stopped in this morning to Royal Donuts and Burgers for a cup of hot coffee. I also ordered a ham & cheese croissant with Jalapeños and a cold orange juice. I ordered the items to go and took them home to enjoy while watching the Christmas move, Die Hard! Is it really a Christmas movie? Lol

Great service, I came in in the afternoon and ordered a box of donuts, filled a little more than half, as we chatted she started filling up the box to the brim with random donuts! Ended up trying do it’s I don’t usually order, but they were a hit. Easy to park and grab, they have a drive thru, offer a lot more than doughnuts and now that I know there are good people working here I’ll be back to give those a try. Highly recommend supporting this donut shop!

Best “mom and pop’s” donut shop that is an absolute gem for anyone who may have that very specific “late afternoon” hankering for some very well priced sugar. Staff will treat you with respect and go above and beyond to make sure your experience with them is nothing short of the best. Simple, accommodating, and the Burgers they serve! I may be a little biased, but they bring back memories of when I was a kid… summer nights, “better be home before those street lamps turn on,” skating my butt off quickly, surrounded by friends w/only the change in our pockets when we arrived, yet we always had full belly’s when we left. Highly recommend… especially for the locals. It’s a local thing…oh and did I mention there is a Drive- thru! “Enjoy the little things…”

Got some donuts form drive thru. I was surprised by the size of the tiger tail donut and lemonade, and the food was really worth the prize. The donut is soft and the chocolate is not too sweet with a texture similar to a glaze. Overall a nice experience, would like to try it again.
