The restaurant is very basic from the inside but the food quality is top notch! Everything tasted phenomenal. Chicken kabobs were tender and flavorful and chapli was nicely cooked. Meal included bowl of soup and bread. Portion size is pretty decent. Waiter also served us tea free of charge. Would recommend 10/10 for taste and hospitality.

This place is legendary. A Carmichael hidden gem. Likely the best middle eastern food I’ve ever had which is saying a lot in this area of Sacramento. They could use some tips on decor but the food is incredible and all the staff are lovely people.

This place was shut down due to infestation of roaches. Search them on the Sac Food Inspection website to verify as well. CLEAN THIS PLACE UP AND BE PASSIONANTE ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS. MAJOR VIOLATION – CLOSURE: Observed the following vermin activity: Observed live German nymph roaches on the wall (three) beneath metal shelf located at cook’s area above cold top cooler, one nymph coming up from opening in FRP wall behind warmer, one roach on the wall behind handwash station across from 3-comp sink, three live roaches running on equipment and wall at front metro shelf storage area (across from produce cooler), two roaches on the floor beneath ice cream freezer, and one adult roach on the floor between kitchen and front area. Ootheca observed inserted between wall and mop rack. Dead roaches observed in multiple locations throughout facility (floor, walls, cabinet, inside containers, on top of bulk bin lids, shelves). Observed loose/bulging FRP wall in multiple locations especially behind reach-in coolers and front handwash station at cook’s area. Per operator, they have scheduled pest control treatment every two weeks; report was not available for review. Due to evidence of a vermin infestation, facility is hereby closed. No food sales or preparation is permitted until facility is reinspected and approved to open by the Environmental Management Department (EMD).
