This is my third time coming ! My food was really good and it always taste hot and fresh ! My order did take 20+ minutes due to my coco bread being fresh. The customer service is great from both ladies. It’s always clean and fresh inside the restaurant. Definitely recommend. The prices are pretty good as well.

My birthday was on the 27th of December and I drove from Austin to Killeen for a birthday dinner and I got to the restaurant and place my order for a steamed fish with rice and peas and steamed cabbage. I decided to wait until the food was ready because it was cook by order, after waiting and I got the food I was disappointed. The food what’s not up to my liking and the fish was barely fry and not steam and the rice had no taste. The best thing is that they gave me a cup of sorrel for free and it was the highlight of the day. A true Caribbean native, I has very high expectations and was a bit disappointed…. We waited 10-20 mins for our meals. The oxtail my supervisor order was sweet (why).
Very friendly staff and restaurant was very clean but the food needs more love and attention…. And it was my first time but I’m hoping to revisit with my Jamaican sister and order some different for comparison.

I’m going to be honest here. I was craving this food like craving craving. So this is what I ordered. To my surprise it was a complete let down. The rice was over cooked or the vibes of left overs. The cabbage had a pickled taste to it. The fish was just fish. The plantines was the only food I liked.
The service of the employees they were very polite and kind. The atmosphere inside wasn’t much other than ordering your food and do a little bit of shopping for groceries. Very clean inside with a seating area.
I do recommend you to try it out. I will give it another try . Some days or better than others, and that’s ok it’s life.

This place is a gem. The food is really delicious. Oxtails were flavorful and tender. Rice and beans were soft, combining with the oxtail sauce, it’s heaven. Their plantains tastes better than any Jamaican restaurants I’ve been to. It is nicely charred and melts in your mouth. The chef and cashier were both very nice. I recommend that you call to place your orders ahead as it could take as long as 30 minutes to be ready.

SO delicious and seasoned to perfection. I got the curry chicken and ox tail + 4 sides and a drink totaled to $19.60 and worth every bite! Although, I will say the oxtail was a tad bit dry but the flavor made up for it. The serving size is a great portion, the establishment is clean and well kept and the service is friendly.
