We ordered through grub hub today and the food was not good at all. The cabbage was very salty the rice and beans was hard and dry and they gave us 3 pieces of chicken which was actually the breast cut up in 3 ways. I called and the lady that answered the phone had a attitude when I explained to her about the food and she said there was nothing she could do about it she will talk to her manager when they get In this is the second time I have tried this place and each time has been horrible

This place should be shut down!!!! I ordered a jerk chicken salad and I was basically given a chopped head of lettuce and diced lunch meat and shredded cheese, and it was $14 almost $20 through uber eats! Lucky for me I was given a refund for my food but they should be ashamed for sending that to ANYONE!!!

Only been there once a few weeks ago and was totally impressed with the food.
They ran out of cabbage, which tells me it muse be good. One of the patrons in line said it’s the Best! Also, candied yams were off the chain! Chicken was seasoned perfectly and my biggest must for jerk….it was MOIST AND TENDER! If they are this good next time, I’ll rate as a 5!

The customer service may seem a bit relaxed or overly relaxed not sure. The food was great not icky seasoned jerk was well proportioned and cooked and the sides were just as good. The decor may have something to be desired but if you want jerk I’d recommend maybe just place the order in advance and pickup?

I call – no answer
I drive up there – there’s the lady standing right there… except her back is toward the bullet proof window. It takes her an eternity to turn around.
You got oxtails? – The lady shakes her head no.
No answer when I call. No service when I get there…aaand of course, the food I wanted..they didn’t cook.
I went to Uncle Joe’s in Hyde Park. Guess what they had?? :p

Don’t waste your time. Rude, slow and the food is ok. It would be nice to call ahead, but they NEVER answer the phone. I called 8 times it kept going to voicemail. My order was $11.03, but they didn’t have any pennies so she couldn’t give me the balance of my change. I asked for her to just give me a nickel, but she didn’t want to lose the $0.03. well she lost a customer instead. By the way on Saturdays they don’t have lunch specials, only dinner options.
