Came here for a savory breakfast, left with two Beef Patties and a Smile THEY WERE SO HOT! Not spicy. Just HOT AND FRESH. Warmed my soul on a cold and gloomy day. Highly Reccomend!

I started shopping at Royal Caribbean Bakery when I moved to Georgia in February of 1998. Lately the service and product is slowly Declining. .
I visited the restaurant on 07/31/25. The restaurant was about to close. The service I received on this day was totally unacceptable. I ordered a box of spicy beef patty, a large hard dough bread and a cocoa bread. I informed the lady at the counter to place two beet patty with a coco bread in a separate bag.
I received A box of overcooked beef patty. A loaf of bread and a Coco bread. She forgot to give me the two beef patty in the bag.
On the way home, I decided to eat one of the beef patty but it was dry and tasted very funny. I thought maybe that was the only one so I tried another one. It tasted very funny also and was dry. I ordered a small curry chicken and rice with a coca-Cola for someone else. There was a young lady, putting away some drinks. She acknowledged me, and thank me for shopping there. However, I am extremely disappointed with the overall service I received from the company. My order was for an event.

Let me tell you, being from South Fla and The Bahamas, it’s mighty difficult finding delicious Caribbean restaurants. This spot is definitely better than other Jamaican restaurants I’ve tried, especially better than Golden Krust. Lol.

To be honest, I was standing in line and folks in front of me were ONLY ordering beef patties and coco bread. After I ordered and stood to the side to wait for my food, I continued hearing folks ONLY ordering the beef patties and coco bread. Now I really started to worry because I thought that meant their curry, brown stew, oxtails, etc, were not good. Lol. Thankfully, I gave Royal a shot, and I was not disappointed.

I ordered their curry chicken lunch special with 2 spicy beef patties. It was good and satisfied my craving. Now, I’ve had curry chicken waaayyyyy better than Royal, but eating here got the job done.

Would I come back to try another dish? Yes, I would.

I haven’t visited here in almost 10 years. Decided to stop in and taste every patty on the menu (greedy). Beef= good. Curry chicken= delicious . Jerk chicken= dry and almost flavorless. Spinach= delicious . Veggie= good. I also tasted a meatloaf= delicious . Definitely check them out. The line can look long, but they move fast and definitely friendly!!

There was a line when I walked inside and I waited in line was not for long. The lady at front greeted me and asked for my order. I ordered a two small oxtail plates and some additional items. When I got home I was eating my food and noticed NOTHING had seasoning. The oxtails was chewy and tasted like nothing. Then as I was eating I noticed a piece of plastic was in my food. The plantains were not fried instead boiled and the beef patty was bland. I don’t know how this place has as many stars as the do because I would never come back here for authentic Jamaican food

I tried this place for the first time last week, b/c a friend told me about their patties. So, I got a spinach one, & a bottle of sorrel; the patty was delicious, but the punch was just ok. Then I went again this week for another patty, & the peanut punch I’d seen before, but there weren’t any more…
So I found a spurlina punch I wanted to try; and anyone listening may have thought I wanted $1M when I asked the manager/owner for a discount, for pointing out that another bottle’s expiration date was 2+ weeks before.
So I encourage everyone to check the dates..! If she/they can’t/won’t use the FIFO method, and folks refuse to purchase until it’s really spoiled & has to be discarded (at a los$); or worse, someone gets sick from expired goods, leaving them legal liable… I’m so sure she’d appreciate then that losing 10-20% of a single sale (give or take $1) would be well worth “doing business that way.”
Ijs, FR!

They have the best patties and bread in the state of Georgia. And, a lot of Jamaican restaurants actually buy the patties from here for their establishment. This has been a staple for me and I’ve been going her for years. I did try the chicken soup the other day and I wasn’t impressed. The staff is pretty friendly especially the guy.

I had the chicken soup today. Nasty! Taste like the chicken was spoiled. I didn’t even eat it. This place used to have quality food. It has definitely went down in quality.

All the food is good and well priced…for now…except the oxtail. Do not expect a large portion when ordering a large plate. Picture up under. Almost $30 I could have got a whole pack.
