Great, locally owned business! Friendly greetings as we walked in. Clean and roomy for seating. Reasonable prices. Good sized servings. Owner was very nice! Will definitely go back… it’s great to support a business that goes above and beyond to support our community! Every time we come, the food is always great. This year, things got taken to a whole new level thanks to two of our favorite flavor wizards: Mike from Royal Blue and Chris from Grams Jerky. After a casual chat (and possibly a dare?), they decided to blow our minds with custom creations made just for the party.
Pickle Jerky (yes, it exists now, but very limited)
Pickle Mac n Cheese, the creamy, tangy, crunchy miracle we never knew we needed in our lives.
BUT HERE’S THE BEST PART:
The Pickle Mac n Cheese is now officially part of Royal Blue General Store ‘s catering menu (yes, seriously). So if you’re looking to spice up your next event with something funky, unexpected, and dangerously addictive, you know who to call.
Massive pickled love to Mike and Chris, culinary heroes, flavor renegades, and all-around kings of the brine.

We love coming here! I live just outside of town so I love that I can get something not “fast food” while working from home still close by.
My kids ask to come here all the time not only for the ice cream but the chicken as well (they are 8 & 9).
Chicken has always been perfectly cooked! Highly recommend either the chicken wings or the broasted chicken breast…. and of course Pineapple Dole Whip with diced strawberries!

My husband and I are always trying new places. I suggested the Royal Blue General Store today. I wanted to try their food because we are looking for food to serve at a family function. They did not disappoint. We both got the chicken strip meals. I was impressed by the portion size. The potato wedges were hot and just amazing and so was the chicken. My husband does not impress easily. He was impressed. We both love the home town feel. The details like kids pictures displayed. You don’t always see that at a chain restaurant. What was even better than the food was the customer service by Tracy who was taking orders and Kyle who was interim chef. It was noted that even Kyle came out to check to see if we liked our meal. We love to be able to support local, and with great service like we received today we will be back for our catering order.

We have always had a great experience here. Tonight we had an error in our order but it was quickly fixed and Mike (I assume the owner) came out and personally apologized and took accountability for the error. I would highly recommend this place for a meal for any occasion.

The food is great and so is the service. My go to is either the chicken bacon ranch or Italian beef and sausage combo. I get the wedges every time. I can’t wait to try a float and some other sides next time we go.
