What I ordered:
Bezawada Paneer Biryani (spicy): Served hot and fresh, this biryani was flavorful and well-balanced. Every bite had that rich, savory kick you’d expect from an authentic South Indian-style biryani.
Rayalaseema Karam Gobi: Easily the star of the evening. The spice blend was absolutely mouthwatering, and I found myself craving more after every bite. Exceptionally well done!
It’s a simple, low-key Indian restaurant setup. What stood out to me were the bamboo plates and serving dishes – it’s a nice touch! As a vegetarian, I also appreciated that it felt clean and mindful, reducing any concerns about cross-contamination.
I’d definitely consider coming back to try more entrées and explore the rest of the menu. Prices are reasonable and quite pocket-friendly for the quality and flavor they deliver.
Also horrible horrible customer service. Never coming back again
Got tandoori chicken another time and it was also very good!
I ordered gurthi vankaya biriyani and ulavacharu paneer biriyani, didn’t like both of them. Ulavacharu biriyani missing its flavor.
Mango faluda was nice and chai was average. Let me know about your experience. Give it a like if this helps.
We originally wanted to order more food, but the service was disappointing. The servers were inattentive, never greeted us, and didn’t check to see what else we might need. Servers were not friendly and we felt awkward. Even though there were no other tables at the time, the service still felt poor. The way we were treated made us decide not to order additional items.
In the end, we paid $45 for two people. For that price, I expected better food portions and, more importantly, better service. The food itself was okay, but the overall experience was not.
Edit: I see a response from the owner or manager – simply stating their excuse. Well it’s up to you. Take the responsibility and act or read similar reviews from unhappy consumers. I am not returning back.
We also tried a dessert at the end which was great and not overly sweet. Overall really enjoyed the meal and would definitely come back if I’m craving biryani again.
Bittu be the best
This is not the first time I’m facing an issue with Royal Biryani, but it will definitely be the last. I’ve tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt in the past, but their consistent lack of hygiene and complete disregard for customer feedback has left me no choice but to post this.
The most recent issue: I found hair in my food—again. This is the second time this has happened. I had ordered food yesterday, and to my horror, there was hair in it once more. I immediately called to report the issue. Their response? A careless “we’ll check with the kitchen” and absolutely no follow-up or apology. Completely unprofessional.
Past experience: A while ago, I ordered veg fried rice (our order was one of the last for the day, on a weekday). The rice used was clearly spoiled, but they still served it. I raised a complaint back then too—but never received any kind of response or acknowledgment.
This shows a serious lack of cleanliness, food safety, and basic customer respect. It’s unacceptable that a food establishment continues to operate with such poor standards and repeated hygiene issues like hair in food.
Save your health and money—avoid Royal Biryani until they fix their kitchen standards and start taking customer concerns seriously.
On top of that, the food tasted like it was cooked a day ago and then frozen. It was cold, hard, and clearly not fresh at all. Reheated food at this price is unacceptable. The rice was dry, and the overall taste was terrible.
This is not “royal” biryani in any way. It’s overpriced, low quality, and very disappointing. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
