Stopped in today with my partner and brother while waiting for my mother in hospital. We arrived about 3:45 pm and it was completely empty. Service was speedy and the place looked extremely clean and welcoming. Gorgeous brightly colored embroidered runners were on the tables and walls which really made it lovely.
We had the veg samosas to start and they did not dissapoint. Was so nice to have a flaky, light pastry. Too many times samosas have a really heavy and dense pastry around them.
I had malai kofta and both guys had butter chicken. Food was outstanding. The flavor was rich and intense, warmly spiced. So good. Apparently buffet on Wed from 11-2 so we will be back.

Royal Aroma in Campbell River is a must-try! I recently visited and was blown away by the amazing vegetarian options. The flavors were so vibrant and authentic, clearly made with fresh ingredients.The service was warm and welcoming, adding to the overall fantastic experience. When delivering to a hotel/motel some utensils are usually helpful. Second time now .3 weeks ago ok you forgot. Same place and not a spoon in site. A little rice with the curry might be nice too.

Wanted East Indian food for dinner. Debated between the two local ones. Decided to go to Royal Aroma. We enjoyed the experience. The place felt cozy and properly decorated, the staff was nice, the food was good and serving sizes were reasonable. Most of all, as of Oct 2023, the prices are better than the competition. So if you want to have East Indian cuisine for a meal, I recommend you give this place a try!

We had lunch here last week and were so impressed with both the service and the food! Anamika did an amazing job — she served us with such professionalism and care. We had mistakenly ordered a non-veg item, but she caught it right away and quickly corrected our order. Truly unbelievable attention to detail! She also gave great suggestions and knew exactly what would pair well together. If you ask for mild, you’ll actually get mild — they really listen to your requests and make sure you’re happy. We’re so pleased with our experience and will definitely be going back again!

We had a wonderful experience here! The service was excellent—our server Simran was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. She greeted us with a warm smile and gave great recommendations from the menu. The food was fresh, delicious, and it tasted really good. Overall, a great dining experience. Highly recommended!

Used to be my go-to spot, but the recent experience was a bit of a letdown. The flavour variety has narrowed, and the portions felt light on the meat compared to previous visits. Hoping this is just a temporary slump, as I’d love to keep coming back.

No great pictures, but trust me that the food was exceptional!
We had the appetizer ginger cauliflower (wow #1 recommendation), the potato and cauliflower curry, the mix veg curry and the delicious eggplant dish with basmati rice and papadum. Everything delicious!
So good that we cannot wait to go and try other dishes.
I also have to point out that the lady on the phone was Soo patient and nice! Great customer service

Had wonderful experiences multiple times! Anamika at the front desk was exceptionally warm , greeted with beautiful smile, and she suggested we try their new Indo-Chinese style noodles — my wife absolutely loved it! Thanks Anamika 🙂
