Needed to grab a bite before a doctors appointment. Didn’t want a quick drive thru meal, and I saw Roy Roger’s had sit down restaurant meal service. Had never been to Roy Roger’s before, and the employees (John) were friendly, professional and polite. The service was great, the meal was delicious, flavorful and portioned very well. The restaurant was clean, with fully stocked cups, napkins, etc. The restroom was clean, fully stocked and properly equipped. If you happen to be in the area, please consider Roy Roger’s for your food needs. Enjoy!

I truly believe that the fried chicken made at this place were meant to break a persons jaw I have several complaints first The chicken in the fried chicken are extremely dry and bland I can’t emphasize this enough when I’m biting into it it tastes like it had been left sitting there for weeks waiting to be given to someone else it’s stale I’ll input a picture just for proof. Second the crust is extremely hard and way to salty I couldn’t even bite into it dang near felt like I was biting into a bone. I started banging the chicken on a table and it sounded like I was ramming a stone. Bought 6 chickens can threw half of them away it wasn’t edibles and I’m not going to have my jaw sore by the end of my meal I started suffocating more trying to eat the chicken than the biscuit. The biscuits in this place are good there very buttery which I like but the chicken might be the worst chicken I’ve ever eaten in my whole life can go to a 7/11 and probably find something better.

I grew up eating Roy Rogers it’s so delicious particularly the one in Rockville the staff is so pleasant the manager on duty is always helpful. The female cook in the back is extremely clean and cooks with love the atmosphere is pleasant the staff is welcoming and inviting and the food is outstanding. There are not too many RR in the DMV area, but they do serve pretty good meals. Roy Rogers was the first fast-food chain to have fixing bars in their restaurants, if I’m not mistaken. Oh, and they brought back the Steak & Cheese!

There’s only one place in history that maintains consistency throughout the decades and that place is Roy Rogers. If you want 90’s nostalgia with food and atmosphere. Then this is the perfect spot. My first burger I’ve ever had in my life was at Roy’s. The cheeseburger that I had on this experience literally took me back to the time I had my first burger. The fried chicken is a staple and it’s tender, crispy, juicy goodness has indeed been consistent throughout the decades. Childhood nostalgia

This place has changed since I was last here maybe 10 years ago. It looks great. The staff is always moving – taking orders, cleaning the restaurant or restocking the customer areas. Fries were hot, and the roast beef sandwich is unbeatable as always. Glad to see some things haven’t changed. ProTip: Try adding a little Boom Boom sauce to your ketchup before dipping your fries. 🙂

– food was really good, the spicy chicken sandwich had a nice flavor, was moist and a good amount of spicy which was not really that hot but a little kick here and there. The fries we fresh and Mac and cheese was really good as well, super cheesey.
