Visited the Roy Rogers on 26 for lunch today. The cashier greeted me with a smile and asked if I would be dining in and I said “Yes I will be” Ordered the Gold Rush Chicken Sandwich combo and I didn’t wait more than 2 minutes for my meal. There was plenty of items on the fixins bar and stocked. There were 4 other customers in the restaurant at the time, but I had plenty of seating and the restaurant was clean with a hostess out in the dining room cleaning tables. The food was hot and delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect with some holiday music playing loud enough for you to hear it but not overwhelming. 5 star experience

I just wanted to share that I am very grateful for the kind service I received from the woman working the closing shift at this Roy Roger’s who was not only polite, but when it turned out to be a 7 minute wait for a bacon cheeseburger, she decided to make me fresh chicken tenders as well since they would take about the same time to make. I had decided to stop and get a quick meal on my way home after meeting up with some friends downtown, and she was so nice to go out of her way for me with less than an hour until close. My meal was still hot once I got home and they were some of the best chicken tenders I’ve eaten from Roy’s. I also work in the service industry and tend to hesitate to stop somewhere with so little time before the place closes to avoid being an annoyance, so I deeply appreciate her kindness, courtesy, and well wishes for a safe drive home. I wish I had gotten her name, but if she sees this and recognizes the encounter, thank you very much, ma’am.

Arrived at 6:00pm on Tuesday. Not many patrons. Staff was congenial, but not very engaged. My order was to go. Tenders were tough, as if under the lamps too long. They appeared to have forgotten my order, and when discovered, quickly put it together since I was in store waiting. Fries were forgotten. This typically is my go to, since it’s on the way home.. will think again before stopping to order. My wife’s roast beef and sides were good, which bumped the rating up a star or two ….

The team working Sunday 7/27 8pm were so incredibly helpful with a larger order for 10 people. They even helped us load the drinks into our car and hold open the doors for us. I’ve never had such great service from a fast food restaurant!

I didn’t know they still exist! I had to stop in when I saw it. I had the fried chicken and it was the same as when I was there years and years ago! Cooked to perfection. They still have the fixin’s bar too!
