Roy Rogers is an absolute gem. Yes, it’s a fast-food joint—but it’s good food, served fast, just the way it should be. Every visit takes me right back to being a kid, when a trip to Roy’s felt like the best treat in the world. That feeling hasn’t gone anywhere.

The food is consistently delicious, the atmosphere is warm and familiar, and the iconic fixin’s bar? Pure nostalgia. There’s just something special about piling on your own toppings that makes the meal feel uniquely yours.

Roy Rogers is simply great—comforting, classic, and always worth the stop.

Man I love Roy Rogers, I wish they weren’t closing a lot of the locations because it truly is the best fast food place

My first time here. Thanks Roy Rogers for a pleasant lunch. The food was hot, tasted good and all but the strawberry lemonade was a revelation. I rarely drink anything that is not diet, and what prompted me to fill my cup with this beverage I’ll never know, so wow! Friendly service and clean surroundings were great. One nice surprise was Roy’s burger fixins’ bar loaded with everything needed to fix up my burger my way. The fried chicken sliders were huge. I orfered two, but one would have sufficed. The breast tenders were placed on a bed of coleslaw that I will order again and again. I thought KFC had good coleslaw, but this one was better. This was my ” good find” for the week!

By far the cleanest restaurant. They always work with me for special orders, and ive ate there alot told my doctor about it and they said tge food there actually isn’t as unhealthy as you’d think ive been eating there majority of the week for years by that point and still healthy. The staff is always super nice, and helpful.

I kind of known Roy Rogers as a regional fast-food chain mostly around Maryland and I am glad I finally got a chance to stop at one.
Overall the store is very clean and well-kept and the “Fixins Bar” is well-maintained. The service was also good with quick service and pleasant team members at the counter as well.
Speaking of the “Fixins Bar,” your sandwiches come with the meat, bun (and sometimes cheese); everything else you have to top your sandwich with. They have a great chose as well, your normal “LTO” and condiments but also some banana peppers and other interesting toppings as well.
The roast beef I had was pretty good and I like that it is just the roast beef and cheese and I get to choose what else goes on it, lets me put the only other thing I usually want on the sandwich some horseradish. However, for the price I would like to see a little more roast beef on the sandwich. The beef was nice and fresh and bun held up well, just want more roast beef.
The fries were very fresh and not greasy at all. I very much enjoyed the flavor of the fries and am happy that they actually have cups big enough to dip the fries in condiments.
The fact that I can customize my sandwich with what I like is a big plus here; not just the roast beef but also the burgers and chicken sandwiches they carry as well. I would very much like to try their burgers, just wish they had a couple locations in Delaware as I don’t go into Maryland very frequently.

Maybe a rugpool scheme with how much the food costs, for 10 dollars, you get mediocre fries that taste like they fell out of the basket and were just thrown back out onto ya plate, a mediocre burger that I’m pretty sure uses a great value brand patty, cuz it has the signature “frozen puck” shape, and an ok drink, the ketchup I got was more filling then the food, goodness gracious, these 15 year old looking kids behind the counter need trained better. If you want better value just go to Burger King, at least Burger King isn’t just hockey pucks of “meat”

Just got back I have been going there since the 70’s good food and exceptional clean but tonight ordered fish meal and it took aprox. 10 min. To come. The girl handed me 2 pieces of fish that were black no tarter sauce no fork I thought black fish looked strange sk I went to the table to eat bit into fish and was hard as a rock and burnt up. So I took it up to counter and she said we have none so we will drop some for you. I WENT to my table and waited ate my fries and potatoes and no fish ever came walked up to counter and there was 2 pieces of half black burnt up fish I said is this my food they said yes.I ate it it was burnt up and horrible anyway there were 7 employees there 6 of them were chi chating with each other it seemed that they just didn’t care. I have NEVER had a bad experience there intil tonight. Iam very disappointed.

Marginal. The restaurant was clean and inviting. The employees were friendly. But it’s a bit too expensive for fast food. The food was as expected, neither better nor worse than any other Roy Rogers I’ve been to.

It doesn’t take much for me to give a fast food place a 4- or 5-star review. I never expect too much from them. But this one was only average at best. A plain combo meal for $14. (And they got my order wrong.)

If you feel like roast beef, don’t let this review stop you from stopping in. Just know it’s going to cost you a little more than McDonald’s or Wendy’s, and for a little less food.

Worst experience i ever had. Many employees just goofing around. Our fries weren’t ready so we ate our cold sandwiches. We had to go up to get the fries that they forgot about. The tea was behind the counter for some reason and when I went to get a refill I stood there while the employees just ignored me like I was invisible! I stood there for 5 minutes and then just left.

Roy Rogers is one of my favorite fast food places. Today was my first time visiting this particular location and it was perfect! Very clean, friendly and fast service, very fresh items in the burger toppings bar, and plenty of seating. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Cumberland and craving a Double R Bar burger!
