Roxxy is an upscale, retro food and beverage concept that features nostalgic-themed decor from the era of the 1990s and early 2000’s. Here guests will enjoy the sounds of the music from the era along with themed drinks, like a Purple Rain or Material Girl, in a fun, cool atmosphere. It is a fun, casual place to get something to eat and relish in the decor. Roxxy also features live DJ’s on the weekends and has become a favorite place to hang out.

Prefer the location in Cedar Falls, for its larger, nicer & more aesthetic appeal. This location in Iowa City seems a bit more worn due to patron volume…. Iowa City is ALOT more of a “college town” than CF, so its understandable.

Me and my husband just came to Iowa City for my best friends wedding. We stumbled across this place our first night in (Thursday). Zach was working and was the most amazing bartender. We loved the decor, drinks, and vibe of this place but the thing that kept us coming back every night was Zach. Love this spot, great vibe and service. Our bartender, Dallis, made the experience so memorable and amazing, It was my friend’s birthday and she sang the most beautiful rendition of “Happy Birthday” I have ever heard, complete with some festive dance moves and energy that got the whole place dancing as well.
