I’m done with Roxie’s. I have issues with my orders every time! This time the lady gave me 1/2 my order. She didn’t even check to make sure I had everything. I had to tell her there was more to my order.
My skillet should have also had peppers, tomatoes, onions and mushroom’s and there are like 3 in there. Very disappointed! I asked for strawberry and grape jelly, I got grape and blackberry.
It’s little mistakes that shouldn’t happen. The food taste great but they lack in consistency and customer service. They really should take a week off for training. I will have to find a new breakfast place

Family friendly great breakfast restaurant. We’d go more often if we lived closer, but if you’re in the area, you really need to stop in. The staff are very nice and the food is great. They give you a good-sized warm glass bottle of syrup for your pancakes that stays warm your entire meal!

My friend and I went to Roxies this morning for breakfast and had a lovely experience with the couple of servers that were there. We overheard a couple customers complaining and the waitress explain to them that they were extremely understaffed and actually only had two servers available at the moment! My friend and I still had an amazing experience and they were so kind and polite and apologetic for the wait times which both of us work in retail and don’t mind because the food, the prices, and the service is so amazing that the wait is a small price to pay for the great atmosphere! I don’t live in Michigan so I won’t be back soon but whenever I do visit I will definitely be coming back to this restaurant!

Hubby had a longish doctor’s appointment at Borgess, so I decided to treat myself with a late breakfast. Found Roxie’ a short way down Gull Road. Great experience from the start. I had parked and couldn’t see the door, but a regular customer came out and guided me in and introduced me to the server.
The waitress/server told me about the menu items (pancakes would be large, waffles sweet, etc.) I settled on the biscuits and gravy meal with bacon, eggs, and hash browns on the side. Within ten minutes the delicious meal was at the table.
Most pleasant retaurant experience I have had in awhile. The inside was clean and roomy, the staff obviously cared about their customers, food was great. I will return again next time I have a Borgess visit.
Thank you also to the kind customer who helped me feel welcome both before and after.
BTW, Roxie’s should change the restaurant photo. It is not Michelle’s.

I ordered a breakfast quesadilla with NO bacon, it came loaded with it. I HATE bacon!!! We won’t be back!!! My husband and daughter had breakfast, I didn’t!!! By the time they would have brought mine, I’d be eating alone. Going down the street from now on. Won’t be back!!!

We got take out, place looked nice, but the food was expensive for what we got and was the greasiest stuff I’ve ever tasted. It left a thick coating in our mouths and made us sick. It tasted like old lard was used to cook it. The people were very nice, the food and price were the only problem.

I enjoy breakfast with friends twice a week at Roxie’s Gull Rd. I’ve also met some really interesting people during those visits. The food and service are always excellent.I regularly try the specials, which are typically subtle variations of menu items. I highly recommend Roxie’s Gull Rd to any one looking for a great place to enjoy a delicious breakfast. Prices are very reasonable, especially for the amount of food you receive.

My family and I were in town for the weekend and decided to stop into this establishment as it caught eye. I’m familiar with the area and it was new to me. Our server was fantastic, however, our food took almost 45 minutes for eggs and pancakes. I understand things happen but it was cold when we received it. The restaurant appeared somewhat empty so I’m confused as to why our food took so long and then was cold. Won’t be coming back anytime soon. Very disappointed.

Servers and staff seem extremely busy, borderline hectic, but staff works very hard to seat guests quickly. Food wait time was average. Delicious breakfast. Pancakes are massive – definitely worth a try.
