What a legendary discovery, was looking for somewhere to pull over and eat when I saw a sign for BBQ.

“What do you recommend” “everything is great” Got recommended the brisket on the Dutch crunch with pepper jack. They make the bread and the spicy bbq sauce in house. 10/10 BBQ. Will tell 10 friends, keep up the great work!

Best BBQ around. They smoke their own meats on site. Very friendly counter staff taking orders. Lots of choices. The brisket and tri-tip were excellent. We love stopping here on our way from Seattle to San Francisco or back.

One of the best deli places I’ve been to in a while. Their “Mafia” meatball sandwich was incredible! The potato salad was really good but I would have liked it even better if it had dill pickles in it (I’m a fan of vinegar though ‍♂️). Definitely check this place out of your driving through town.

This is a deli worth stopping for! I got a delicious, generous tri tip sandwich with spicy BBQ sauce they make in house. The meat is marinaded SO WELL, it literally melts in your mouth. These folks know sandwiches and BBQ.

One of the best deli experiences I’ve had north of Sacramento. I highly recommend stopping in and supporting this fantastic father and son duo shop.

Great on your way to or from Chico, too. Worth the drive every time. QUALITY KINGS!

Great deal! Awesome small town bbq spot. Better than anything I’ve had in Chico proper. Cool hybrid sub shop/old school southern bbq spot. Bbq is on point, at least the pulled pork. Great smoke ring but subtle smoke flavor, smoker right out front running a hot smoke. Great food and service!

It’s a great spot to come by and get some food to grub. The customer service was on point they made the food quick and it taste amazing.The environment was great I felt welcomed and treated with respect. We had a conversation with the owner and he in explained how their food was made and why it tasted to good.

From the moment we walked in, the friendly staff treated us with respect. They offered suggestions and showed the difference in the two bread sizes resulting in us ordering the one that matched our appetite. We decided on a pulled pork spiced up with jalapenos on the Dutch crust. As we went to add a couple deviled eggs to the order, the clerk said it would be on the house. Turned out pulled pork was the special that day. We added a real coke and split the meal. The sandwich was balanced with all the fixings and a lot of meat. A couple bits were on the dry side so I’ll ask for extra sauce next time. The eggs, far beyond just a simple gesture of hospitality were made perfect! Add the sweetness of the cane suger from the glass bottled coke and we left very impressed and full! Total costs came in just over $15. We’ll be back for sure!
