We stopped in to have dinner amd check out the end of the tigers game.
We had a fantastic time chatting with the locals and our dinner was excellent. I went with the steak sandwich and I can’t even explain how good of a meal it was! The coleslaw is perfect and the fried were on point! If you are in this area and looking for a solid meal I definitely recommend swinging in to get your belly full.

We stopped in to Roxy’s to eat lunch and were pleasantly surprised! The food and drinks were great. My husband said the beer selection was good too. Plenty of TVs to watch sports, etc. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our quick stop at Roxy‘s. We had the nachos and the half naked hotties, which are cheese curds with a bite of jalapeño. My sisters had the laughing fish beer and wished it was colder. Our server was Sharon and she was very pleasant and attentive.

We were on vacation riding motorcycles through Michigan. We stopped here for a bite to eat. Great food, great service and a good vibe. This place was suggested by the Sunset Motel which we were staying at.

Eleven of us stopped in for lunch and they served us a fantastic lunch. They had a large variety of my favorite foods on their menu. We had lots of sandwiches, burgers, salads, and drinks. All was served with ease and friendliness. Everybody loved the food. Located across the street from the Ontenogan Museum, this place is great way to finish your visit to Ontenogan. Hidden gems in the UP.

You will be waiting a while for food and sit yourself down. Few workers and one of the few places near trails and camping grounds open late. That being said:
Food is worth it after miles of hiking and exhaustion. I had a Cuban w chips and slaw( ~$9). You can tell the locals love the place w regulars and everyone was incredibly friendly. Bar was playing big bang theory w subtitles which seemed to entertain quite a few older folks.
Parked by the squeeze since Roxeys is on larger street w few parallel parking spots.

Been here twice and the food was amazing! Small bar setting but don’t let it fool you, they do an amazing job cooking!

Add read fish fries, so mistakenly assumed they offered fish on the menu. That’s a no. Burger was excellent, the $3 up charge for fries was a bit much, especially when the fries were cold. Service was slow, well over an hour to get a burger and sandwich. Waitress never checked back. Had to ask for bill. Can’t say i was impressed.

While I did get my food to go, the person who took my order was SO nice and I even chatted with a few people sitting and having dinner at a table. I got a bacon cheeseburger and it was one of the Best burgers I’ve ever had!!! So delicious, I ate the whole thing!
