We were looking for a good restaurant in Stamford and decided to try this place because of the great reviews — and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious, and every dish tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Although the restaurant was busy and a few things were delayed or missed at first, our server was incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely doing his best. His kindness and professionalism made those small mistakes feel insignificant, and we ended up having a really pleasant dining experience. Highly recommend!

First time here at Rowayton!
We visited an aquarium nearby and decided to get a lunch since the restaurant has beautiful views with great food. Fish and chips, clam chowder, and lobster roll are very fresh. Nice staffs and it was snowing so it made more special. They have a parking area and kids-friendly.

My two girlfriends and I went for a Galentine’s night out and it did not disappoint! Maria was our server and was great with suggestions especially since my friend has a dairy and gluten allergy. She was also on top of our tables needs but not overbearing. Love that. Place was busy but we never felt rushed and it was quite cozy with the fireplace! I saw couples there, people just grabbing drinks at the bar, and families – friendly to all! The Halibut Cioppino I will be ordering at least once a month – it was perfection and so fresh! Pictured is the Major Platter (lrg) and the perfect appetizer for 3 people.

The food was so delicious. I had the lobster bisque , great creamy taste with nice chunks of lobster. I also had lobster and shrimp egg rolls, delicious with the side sauce. Lastly I had classic lobster roll with fries and key lime pie for dessert. Murdock was a great waiter, very attentive and gave great recs! Will def be back!

The Barramundi Milanese with fingerling potatoes was outstanding—I highly recommend trying it. The crab cakes were also very good, and every dish we had was flavorful and well-prepared. The blueberry pie was delicious as well.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is lovely, and the service is attentive and friendly. This restaurant is clearly popular, so I highly recommend reserving a table well in advance. Overall, it was a fantastic seafood dining experience!

Food was outstanding. We have been wanting to come here for a while. Reservations encouraged and now I know why. Great spot on the water. Service was terrific. Roasted oysters were excellent. Salmon, swordfish, lobster roll, steak, Vongole was all excellent. Definitely an Amore Life experience

Nice seafood! I love the spicy tuna tartare a lot, even the chips on the side taste so good! Calamari was little weird taste, but still impressive. The cornbread was awesome with the warm apple butter! Very great service and valet parking!

A really beautiful setting on the marina in charming Rowayton. Our waiter was fantastic, he had only been there a month but was highly knowledgeable and very attentive and accommodating. The food was disappointing though. The ingredient combinations were strange and unappealing – the fried dishes were way over cooked and the presentation sloppy. The burrata salad was presented well so I took a picture, the lobster bisque very average – it looked like a casual home made Sunday version. Go for the atmosphere and drinks.

Having our weekend brunching in Connecticut and found this lovely seafood place in Rowayton. Great seafood, great beer and definitely would come back to try other items in the menu. Cherrystone was our favorites, fresh with seawater taste, grilled calamari and baked oysters were not the typical items you found from most of the seafood restaurants. Saw lobster rolls & linguine with clams at the next table and i gotta be back try them too.

It’s an informal, higher end food experience along the waterfront. The overall experience was very nice. The service was solid. The prices are pretty expensive. Shockingly at a seafood place, the steak was a standout. The roasted oysters were excellent. The tuna tartar was average – not particularly well seasoned on this night. The crudo was also well done.
