I don’t think I’ve ever written a review for a food place in my life, but this is disgusting. My family and I recently ordered food from Rowayton Pizza, and were shocked to see A BUG IN OUR SALAD. So, we obviously called the place for a refund, and while the staff were kind and willing to help, they directed us toward the owner who denied us a full refund, only offering 10$ of store credit for a $70 dollar meal. The person in my family that was unfortunate enough to find this in their salad was so scared they cried. I’m never ordering from this place again, I suggest you do the same.
Edit: hi, I tried to reply to the owners review, but I couldn’t, so I’m editing the review itself. It’s absurd that an establishment as well off as yours couldn’t muster up the common decency to refund the meal for the discomfort the food and the owner caused us. I did not threaten to post pictures of the bug in our food until after I asked for a full refund, and you proceeded to yell at me for a mistake you refused to take responsibility for? Seems more of a “fan of fiction” than I am. Good riddance.

I ordered a penne allavodka, a caesar salad, and a pepperoni pizza with hot honey and it was amazing!!! absolutely 10/10 would recommend. i came back from college for the holidays and went with my family because we heard a lot of good stuff about them and quickly found out the good things were true! go here if you want great food and service.

I kept hearing about this place and meaning to go. Being an East Norwalk resident this is was a bit of hike to get to so I kept delaying till the other day. I finally made the trek over, about 15 minutes, and so glad I did. The people were friendly and very welcoming. The food was outstanding. We got a small pizza, steak n cheese and a chicken cutlet sandwich. An extra surprise was the Del’s lemonade. Being native Rhode Islanders this was cause for celebration. We will definitely head back soon!

Ordered calamari and the Rowayton Special pizza. Good quantity of calamari in the box. Could have used more time in the fryer, was a bit soggy. Suggest requesting ‘crispy’. Pizza well adorned with peppers, onions, mushrooms and meats. But the combo of olive oil and vegetable juice left the middle of the pie a mess. Not much slid with the slice. Fork and knife helped. No beer sales.

I don’t like their website saying it will be 20minutes for a pick up order. I waited 35 minutes for disappointing pizza. I appreciate how hot it was but sauce and cheese ratio were insanely out of proportions. Maybe we caught them on a bad night…

This is literally the best pizza I have ever had in my life and I used to live in both Italy and NYC!
Okay, maybe not THE BEST PIZZA, but I can verify that the Meat Lover’s they have is absolutely the greatest. I have had meaty pizzas on all continents except for Antarctica and this was truly the best.
You get five varieties of meat that are richly spiced and with GENEROUS servings of literally everything: meat, cheese, sauce, etc. You can smell the herbs and see the cumin seeds, crushed peppercorn shells, etc.
One large pizza is almost enough food for two days. In NYC, a similar pizza would be over $45. The only pizza that can compete is a customized one from Height’s Pizza on Post Road.

We order once a week and the food is consistently amazing. High-quality ingredients (hard to find with pizza in the area)and friendly service! I usually order a soup just for the bread that comes with it because HOLY COW, it’s some of the best and freshest I’ve ever had.

Excellent setting and delicious food not limited to pizza. Outdoor seating for summer, Italian style heroes, and of course pizza in a variety of sizes and toppings. Very cozy for a pizzaria, and most friendly and welcoming. It is small inside, but well worth a visit in this picturesque milieu. I had the cheese steak, very good. Others enjoyed the very good pizza. Parking out front, but a bit limited. Prices very reasonable.
