Fantastic French food, great service, laid back yet elegant setting. Hard to ask for better than this. Love the variety in plates as well. The seasonal melon salad was the surprising star of our meal

Good, not great. The menu is exciting but the execution falls flat. A lot of the dishes were boring (e.g. almost tasteless California halibut sashimi and cold pork and duck terrine.) The stands outs we had were the short rib confit (delicious!) and Dungeness crab pavé (tasty, but wish there was more crab on it.) Desserts were the best part of the meal and we loved the chocolate mousse and Napoleon we split. The drinks were okay, although my dining partner wished his was stronger and my mocktail was largely flavorless and only about five sips worth. Our waitress was dour, never smiled once, never offered to get us more drinks when we were out and just generally seemed unenthused to be there. The ambiance was cute, but we were sat in the upstairs portion of the restaurant and found it so loud we had to yell throughout most of the meal. Overall, I would go back if someone asked me to but I wouldn’t go out of my way to do so, especially at the high price point.

9/10 Californian-French Bistro. Absolutely stunning experience and food. I will revisit and try other menu items ASAP. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Chicken Liver, crispy squid, short ribs, risotto, mushrooms, scallops, dessert and more, love all dishes.

We routinely pass this restaurant on our way to b.Patisserie and was intrigue with the Brasserie style curtains. Our server was Rick (German heritage, not French ) and was excellent in recommendations and service! We started with the Chicken Liver Mouse served with onions, Red Currant Compote and some Crisps. Phenomenal! A must order! The Mouse went well with the Red Currant and the Crisp which was brushed with a sweet butter. Then Hen of the Woods “Au Poivre”…another winner deserving of a Michelin star on its own. For main entrées we had the Shortrib confit (of so tender) with a Celery- Chestnut purée and young cabbage and mustard au jus. Delicious and extremely satisfying. I had The Dungeness Crab Pavé with a spicy mayo and Tempura Asparagus (in Season). Delectable and Delightful. The ambiance was warm and welcoming with a touch of elegance! We will definitely be back as it is walking distance away. But we would drive over for the experience. Kudos Belinda!

We had our Valentine’s dinner at Routier the weekend before Valentine’s day. The ambiance was perfect. The restaurant feels cozy and warm, as though we were in France. Rick, our server, was very thoughtful and friendly.

First time here but disappointed. The risotto was too sweet and the duck was not very good. However the sea food was surprisingly good. For dinner, 20% tips are automatically added to the bill and it’s pretty pricey. The desire was pretty good. But for a French restaurant, I don’t think I will go again, unless they do some change to their dishes.

Love it! Very authentic French bistro. The pave (excuse my typing) or thousand layers of potato is amazing. So crispy and non greasy. I love the crispy halibut which comes with freshly shaved truffle. The halibut is also very tender and juicy .

Delicious and interesting food. Great service. For an appetizer we had the marinated melon and crab pave. Entrees were lobster with veggies and lamb shoulder. Dessert was chocolate mouse and plums with whip cream and pastry sticks. Everything was excellent!
