Great lunch! Melissa was very friendly and checked on me often! I had the Roadhouse burger and fries. The fries are handcut/home made. 10/10 on them! Roadhouse sauce was delicious. Can’t wait to try the Cajun burger next visit.

I’ve tried fried pickles from so many places in the Midwest, and these just might be the best so far. They use bread & butter chips, which I love, and it’s the first time I’ve had fried pickles with that kind of batter. They were so good! Crispy and crunchy. The drinks are also very reasonably priced. Would absolutely love to go back there if we’re in the area again.

We were visiting Pontiac,IL for the first time and stopped in for lunch. We ordered the cheeseburger and chicken tender meals for the kids , a southwest chicken wrap and a buffalo chicken wrap. Everything was great and made fresh. The homemade ranch was outstanding , and we were able to buy a bottle to take home! Added bonus , the kids meals were 1/2 off. We will definitely go back if we’re in the area again. Might even make the drive just for the ranch.

DO NOT EAT HERE! Waste of money! Most people will tell you it’s too expensive for what it is and I agree. Honestly, go a little further to RT 66 Family Restaurant In Dwight, IL they are wonderful. We tried this for take out and it was so awful! I was going to write a review then and decided to give them the benefit of the doubt they’re new. No way now! My husband waited a hr until they open even though it says they open at 9, they weren’t. Then he goes to get me a breakfast burrito and they just decided they’re not making them anymore. They just decide what to serve or not to serve. What hours to be open or not to be open. So no more breakfast until Spring the owner says. Unreal! This is not how you get continued business. I will never patron this place ever and I will continue to tell people not to waste their hard earned money. Chicken dinner is literally a dried out grilled chicken breast with nothing else on it. Like a hockey puck! The steak sandwich they offered because they were out of everything else was also awful! Fatty and salty as heck. They ran out of ice cream and said they had 1 left peach cobbles and it was freezer burnt. I was so mad I almost called to complain. Truthfully they wouldn’t have cared or made it right anyway you can tell this place shouldn’t be open. You got me once for $50 and a great tip, you’ll never get me again. You can’t cook, so I’d suggest finding a chef who can and evaluating how you run a business.

I was recently passing through Pontiac and decided to give them another try, unbeknownst to me that the food quality since I had last had the food(back in October) has drastically taken a turn for the worst. I’m not sure if they aren’t using the same recipes or just didn’t cook my food right. But my cheeseburger was flavorless and tasted like it had been sitting out for hours and warmed back up, the fries were undercooked and were still raw in the center.
I really hope something can be worked out to understand whats different, because until further notice I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I know this place is somewhat new as of this review and still finding their path, so I’ll give some grace. We went here for breakfast. (I -think- they had just started offering breakfast the week before). We were seated relatively promptly, but it took longer than expected to have our order taken. Then, it took quite a while to receive our food. Our orders (x2) were simple — both of us ordered eggs, sausage/bacon, and hashbrowns. Unfortunately, the food quality/prep was not very good. The egg whites were undercooked and runny (were supposed to be over-easy), and I had sausage links that were undercooked and partially raw on the inside. So, not a great experience in terms of food. I know some will ask “why didn’t you say something to the server” — we had already waited close to 25-30 minutes just to get our food, we were really just ready to be done and gone vs waiting longer to have the food re-done. The atmosphere is touristy (as the name implies – Route 66 themed), but nice. May try again another time, but going to give it some time before we go again for breakfast.

We dined for breakfast. We asked for just biscuits no gravy which is not an alacart item and they we very accommodating and brought us biscuits that were excellent. I had a vegetarian breakfast burrito and my husband had 2 eggs over easy hashbrowns and wheat toast. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the hashbrowns were seasoned well and very good. Our waitress was excellent. Some of the best coffee around, it was not watered down. We would come back for breakfast.

We stopped here on 11.28.25 because I remembered that the previous owners, Delong’s, had an excellent Rueben Sandwich. Sad to say, the new restaurant with new owners doesn’t measure up to Delong’s, (and no longer makes a Rueben sandwich). We had the grilled chicken wrap, which was about as minimalistic and lackluster as a sandwich can get, whoever the chef was, he didn’t know how to create a good wrap. Being a great chef and creating memorable food takes a lot of work, not everyone can take it on. Total bill for two wraps, tax and tip, $35.29. First time and last time.

Everything was fantastic. Best burger of my life was their Roadhouse burger.
Pepperjack cheese balls were amazing.
All of the sauces were homemade and delicious.
I will stop here every time we pass through.
