We got a large veggie pizza with no cheese and they often come out, in other pizza places, looking naked! However, the pizza here at Route 66 Pizza Palace was delicious! After seeing how wonderful it looked I found the taste was as good as it looked! And the crust was not all doughy! The crust was crunchy and my wife (the cook in the family) said it was properly kneaded! Highly recommended!!

I cannot remember the last time I gave a bad review on any place…until now. Ordered a large meatball sub, an order of cheese bread, a piece of cheesecake and a side order of pepperconi peppers. There was maybe 4 small meatballs on the sub…maybe 3. Cheese bread was mediocre at best. After eating the food, I thought maybe the cheesecake will change my opinion and I open up the bag to find I pre packaged cheesecake slice. Wish I could give zero stars. And the side of peppers I ordered was a cup of sliced pickles

Had an Italian cold sub with everything on it + light mayo and mustard (suggested to me by the owner. Not the mayo & mustard though). I also had an 8″ mafia bread and large drink. The marinara sauce tastes much better than it used to. Pretty good!!!

I:ve ordered here before and the food was always great. This time I actually went in and the food was also great. Service was pretty quick. Lots of history on these walls. I had the baked lasagna dinner. Thanks for the great service.

This was a fun little pizza place for our family of six. The food was good and we enjoyed the arcade games in the back. We will definitely be back. We visited a little late in the day and though it was a little messy, they looked like they were cleaning up from an earlier party. Most of the games worked too!

I’ve been here two times with my family and will not go back. We thought we would give them a second chance, and it was just as bad as the first time we went. We ordered a large cheese pizza, garlic cheese bread, and Buffalo wings. Wasn’t thinking that the garlic bread would only have 2 pieces and was burnt. The wings were super spicy but good. The pizza was alright, not like their pictures. For the quality of the food, I would not have paid the $50. Way over priced. The staff was very uninviting and had no manners. There is no customer service at ALL. Definitely won’t be going back again. They also charge $1 for each extra ranch you get. If I could give this place no stars I would.

Pizza is good but salad bar was $17 for hardly any options, ridiculous. Our bill for a large pizza and 1 salad bar, 1 ice tea and 1 pitcher of 805 was $89. Crazy expensive for such little bit of food.

I enjoyed the atmosphere greatly. The pizza was delicious. Very cute game area. Kids enjoyed the pizza and games. Hubby order the meat lovers party size for him and oldest. Youngest wanted their veggie pizza.

We stop here for dinner when we have occasion to go through Barstow. It is a funky place with all sorts of Route 66 memorabilia. There are TVs set to various sporting events blaring. The food is the draw for us. Great pizza, fresh and well stocked salad bar, good beer selection (bottle, mug or pitcher). There are usually lots of kids running around: it is family friendly with pinball and other games. It’s not a place for a nice quiet or romantic dinner, but for pizza and beer it is as good as it gets. Worth the stop for us after a long day on the road.
