We came through Clinton following the Oklahoma Route 66 passport and stopped here for a stamp and lunch. Wonderful experience! The staff was friendly, the owners were on site working hard, the space was clean and well thought out! The food was excellent! I highly recommend the onion rings and tater tots-bother were fried to perfection. I had the club sandwich, my husband had the catfish. Both of us thought the food was spot on! We did have cheese curds as an appetizer…they were good but not great-but please consider this is coming from a Wisconsin native. I ordered iced tea, which tasted good but came out cloudy. Important to note….they serve Pepsi products and not Coke. I should take away a star for that because this Atlanta, GA native only recognizes one soda-Coke. I can only assume the “Okies” prefer Pepsi because why else would you settle for subpar in your own restaurant?!? Another note worthy
tid-bit this is a Veteran owned business. Both husband and wife proudly served. As a military family ourselves, we like to support veteran businesses. I got a giggle out of their T-shirts and snapped a pic of that too-come to find out today was day one for this new design! I highly recommend you come have a meal-breakfast served all day too! Delicious!

Stopped in at the Route 66 Cafe during our road trip, and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere was warm and nostalgic—like stepping back in time in the best way. Staff were super friendly and welcoming, even though we arrived close to closing.
It’s exactly the kind of small-town diner you hope to find on Route 66: local charm, great service, and comfort food done right. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re passing through!

The Route 66 Cafe is hands-down one of our favorite breakfast spots! The service is always friendly, fast, and welcoming, and the food is even better. We love it so much that we drive about 30 minutes at least twice a month just to eat here.

Pictured is the meat lovers burrito, made as a bowl – absolutely delicious, hearty, and packed with flavor. Everything we’ve tried here has been cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. If you’re looking for a place with great food, warm service, and a cozy diner feel, this is it. Highly recommend!

The country kitchen is still alive and well in Oklahoma. This is the feel and vibe of a small town country kitchen where one may see locals waiting in line to taste the treats of what mom used to make! This place is privately owned by a husband and wife team who have obviously listened to what their customers keep coming back for. Remodeled in a new clean and comfortable feel with modern materials. Will recommend highly. Next up the burger or the chicken fried steak! Go eat and enjoy!

Had a short 10 minute wait to be seated because it was Mother’s Day and busy. They had an $11,99 special, your choice of meatloaf or chicken fried steak, but they were out of meatloaf, but the chicken fried steak was big, tender, and good! It came with mashed potatoes, gravy, and choice of Mac and Cheese, corn, or green beans, and included a roll.

Our servers were friendly and provided good service. We will be back!
