I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and fries and the portion size of the fries wasn’t very large. The burger bun was wet and soggy. The fish would have been better if you had slaw. Waitress said you were out of slaw! Collards were horrible and right out of a can! Deviled eggs were toooo sweet. Service was great from the waitress, but the wait time wasn’t good to get our food! Restaurant was not busy at 11:30 am. Very disappointed. Only good things were waitress and the sweet tea. Rest rooms are too small for wheelchair access as well.

My sister’s and I just moved our mother into a nursing facility in the past 2 weeks. She is adjusting to not cooking for herself. Taking her to Rouse’s has been great so she can get her country vegetables like she likes!

The food was awful. The collards came from a can and didn’t even taste like collards. The fried chicken seemed to have been cooked at a earlier time and then dropped in grease again. So full of grease and dark skin. The fried squash was so greasy and soggy. First and last trip and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

I LOVE YOUR RESTAURANT… I COME FROM A HIGHLY COMMERCIAL FOOD CHAIN DRIVEN AREA IN THE MOUNTAINS OF TN, AND I WOULD GIVE ANYTHING TO HAVE THE OLD LOCAL OWNED MOM AND POP RESTAURANTS BACK LIKE WE ONCE HAD, BUT THE CHAINS RAN THEM OUT DUE TO TOURISTS NOT EATING LOCAL… SO, LENOIR COUNTY LOCALS PLEASE CHERISH AND SUPPORT THIS GREAT RESTAURANT, WE DO… DELICIOUS FOOD… THANKS

First time here for brunch on Sunday. Great selection of food!! I think I misunderstood because there weren’t any breakfast items. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the bar and the staff were very attentive but not helicopter-y. I’ll definitely be back

Drove from Farmville to eat here only to find out they were not open. Sign says Saturday 6:00 to 11:30. Gas is not cheap people!

Sorry to say, I wasn’t super impressed by the food. The service was fast and friendly but the four finger chicken plate was more like three and a half fingers and one of the bigger ones was mostly bread. The okra was good although possibly not made in house? And they forgot my BBQ sauce!
