I just want to say this location is absolutely amazing ! Down to the way they talk to you , treat you , and their attentiveness. I really wanna shout out kimberly and Nayeli . They were awesome. Kimberly was so attentive to everything that we asked for and more , so full of life . But I also wanna shout out Nayeli ! She helped bring out our food with so much joy and respect . So much so they deserve a shout out. So shout out to you guys for making this experience such an amazing place to Dine in.

Today I went to Round The Clock restaurant in Schererville with my mom and our friend. Round the clock is a 24 hr chain restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner all day. It’s a very cozy place with excellent service and phenomenal food. I got the fried shrimp and sweet potato fries, my mom got the garden club with regular fries and our friend got the meatloaf and mashed potatoes. The fried shrimp were hot and crispy and very flavorful. We also got soup. Our friend and I got lemon rice and my mom got vegetable soup. Very tasty! Our server Robbie was incredible. Very outgoing and funny. Made our experience enjoyable. The only issue was it was kind of loud and cramped which made it a bit difficult to talk and maneuver my power chair, but we made it work. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. Would definitely go back. 5 stars.

Tonight I ordered a bacon and cheese omelet with hash browns and pancakes. So far, both the hash browns and omelet are delicious. Havent tried the pancakes yet but i’m sure they’re great. They look great. My only complaint is that I did not receive napkins with my order or silverware. I mentioned over the phone when I ordered that I would be eating it in my car and so to please give me extra syrup which they did but I didn’t get any silverware or napkins. Thankfully I had some silverware in my car. Please try and remember those, guys. Otherwise, couldn’t be happier. Thank you.

The absolute WORST experience we’ve ever had. Our server was short with us from the get go and then completely disappeared on us. No straws for our drinks, no napkins, no rolls and crackers with our soup and then we were offered no dessert. Had to go to another waitress to ask for a to go box and our check. When asked who our server was, the other waitress apparently knew without a name, so seems to be an ongoing problem with this waitress.

Save your time, don’t bother coming here.

Our server was Deborah and she was an angel. My sons and I had a late breakfast on Saturday evening, which was delicious. We ordered 2 of the $5 meals to go and a turtle cheesecake. They ran out of the turtle cheesecake so, the owner and Deborah had the baker to make me one to go. There was a wait but it was worth it. Thank you.

We ordered meatloaf and mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were served cold, and the meatloaf had zero taste and appeared to be a mystery meat! The lemon rice soup and rolls were good, but the soup was barely warm. We drove 40 minutes to dine here, because the food quality used to be good. After this experience, we will not be going back!

Around the Clock – Schererville, IN

Midpoint meetups are always a great way to catch up with friends, and we decided on Around the Clock diner as a halfway spot. Unfortunately, our experience left much to be desired.

The diner’s ambiance and decor felt dated—perhaps charming to some, but it didn’t add much to the overall experience for us. As for the food, my friend ordered the Chicken & “Brick” Waffles, and I opted for the Veggie “Onion” Skillet with French Toast. (Emphasis on the word Brick & Onion) While the portions were fair, the taste was far from flavorful. It’s safe to say their cooking style may cater to specific, acquired tastes.

Service didn’t improve the experience much either. Our waitress, though polite, was cold and inattentive, which only added to the underwhelming vibe. A final rating of 4/10 for the food and a 5/10 for the service feels generous.

The standout at this diner was their dessert display. Though I didn’t try any, the baked goods looked absolutely scrumptious. Perhaps this diner’s real calling is as a bakery! If they shifted focus to selling sweets and shipped in lighter, pre-prepared meal options, it might revitalize the space and attract more cultured patrons.

Overall, Around the Clock has potential, but as it stands, it’s not a place I’d rush to in the near future.

We both had breakfast while we were there. Portions are very generous. Food was great. Service was also very good as I had several coffee refills. The food came out quickly. Good restaurant that offers lots of selections for many different appetites!

My wife and I were not satisfied with our meal. The fish was thin and over cooked, the same for the country chicken with gravy.
I do know the breakfast are good.
Music too loud.
