Thanks again to the staff.
We like the location because they have a private room.
The phone call does not take you to the restaurant but instead to a call center where you’re met by someone who is hard to understand. I placed my order but was asked 3xs if I wanted to upgrade my order in some way, every time politly refusing. One of the times I was asked if I’d like to add extra cheese for $3. No thanks. Just the original pan, large size pepperoni pizza please.
Upon arrival arrival, I’m charged extra for twists I didn’t order. “Sorry, I have to get the manager”, the woman behind the register says. No problem except my pizza is getting cold while we wait. 5 literally minutes on a Monday night with very few people in the restaurant and little going on in the way of making pizzas. He comes and makes the change. “Would you like peppers or cheese”, the woman asks from behind the register? I say sure. She’ll be right back. 7 actual minutes later I get the peppers and cheese. Did she drive to the grocery store for them I wonder to myself s I take my pizza to the pick up. Hungry upon arrival and even hungrier from smelling what I anticipated to be a great pizza, I open the box to eat a slice in the parking lot before heading home. Is there even cheese on this? Why is barely warm? This is awful. Really, really awful. I wonder if a frozen pizza would have been better. At least it would have been hot.
This isn’t the 1st less than experience I’ve had at this location and driving in from Palo Cedro is no longer worth the drive. The cost has gone up substantially but that coukd almost be tolerated if the quality remained, which in the reflection of tonight’s pizza, it has not. I’m disappointed & still hungry because I didn’t eat the pizza. I did finish the solitary single slice of barly warm pepperoni and scowled the whole way home. The pizza didn’t make it inside and this is my farewell to Round Table.
The manager wasn’t interested in acting upbeat, excited or energetic at all and that low effort attitude was largely reflected in his employees who also didn’t care. The pizza was made without carr and was cut without care. I was looking forward to even slices, no baby pieces and at least a hot pizza when I arrived. I got neither and to top it off, the effort for service wasn’t even there.
Again, this isn’t the 1st poor experience I’ve had there but it will be my last visit. Expecting a different outcome from the same scenario when no changes have been made is asking for the same disappointment. I dont look forward to that.
They also cut it weird, but it was fine.
They were having some issues with the registers when we got there, but everyone was apologizing for the few minutes we had to wait.
Once we got our food they made sure to bring out plates and ranch when we asked. Everyone I interacted with was very pleasant.
They have a small arcade, it is great for its size.
The kids found a claw machine with 25 plays in it and got a bunch of cute toys.
