I stopped by the West Sacramento Town Center spot and wow — from the moment I walked in, you could feel the energy of a well-run, community-focused business.
Alexis provided excellent service — friendly, attentive, and always making sure everything was stocked and fresh.
Gary is an amazing manager who has clearly built something special here. You can tell this location truly supports the local community and takes pride in what they do.
Now let’s talk about the FOOD…
The veggie pizza on the buffet was coming out FRESH and HOT — perfectly baked with that classic Round Table flavor we all grew up loving. I may or may not have gone a little wild…

➡️ Added fresh onions from the salad bar
➡️ Threw on some pineapple for that sweet + spicy combo
ABSOLUTE. PERFECTION.
I had TWO full plates of this heavenly goodness and honestly didn’t need to eat for the rest of the day. That’s the kind of value we’re talking about.
And let me say this — the place is spotless and very well maintained. Clean tables, organized buffet, fresh salad bar, welcoming atmosphere. It’s the type of place you can bring family, friends, coworkers — even host a casual team lunch.

Reopened by new management and the place is now great again. The food was very good, the restaurant is clean, and the atmosphere is welcoming. We went in the afternoon of Aug 1 for granddaughter’s birthday lunch and had the salad & pizza special. We will definitely go back again.

Worst pizza experience ever gave this Round Table location 3 or 4 tries, and it was consistently bad every single time. The pizza was always greasy, undercooked in spots, toppings skimpy, and just lacked any flavor. Service was slow, orders messed up, and the staff didn’t seem to care. Total disappointment after hoping it’d improve.
We’ve switched to the Round Table in Old Sacramento (127 K St), where the old owner apparently took over – the difference is night and day! Pizza is fresh, loaded with toppings, hot, and delicious. Staff is friendly, and they offer easy curbside pickup (pay over the phone and they bring it right out). Only downside is the parking in Old Sac can be a nightmare, but it’s worth it for the much better quality.
Save your money and go to the Old Sac.

I had a great experience thanks to Anabel. Even though it was really busy, she stayed positive and handled everything with such a great attitude. She was incredibly helpful throughout our interaction — she even offered me a drink while I waited, which I really appreciated. She made me feel taken care of, and it’s refreshing to see respectful, hard-working younger employees in food service. Anabel is truly a nice person and a great asset to the new round table.

This was the BEST round table establishment I’ve ever been too, not only was the customer service amazing, but the food AND dinning area! Bella was soooooo sweet, literally a ray of sunshine once you walked in the door. The manager on duty was also super nice and funny! Just such a great vibe here, it’s rare to come across now and days with people being friendly let alone loving what they do! I wish so many blessings on the staff here they deserve nothing but prosperity! The whole crew here deserves a raise for being just amazing!

I was really disappointed with my visit to Round Table a few days ago. The restaurant was messy overall, and the salad bar clearly hadn’t been picked up or maintained, which was already off-putting. On top of that, our food took much longer than I would’ve liked, especially considering it wasn’t very busy. What completely ruined the experience for me, though, was finding mold in the Parmesan cheese, which was honestly disgusting and unacceptable. Cleanliness should be a priority, and this made me lose confidence in the place entirely. I do feel bad saying all of this because the service itself was pretty okay and the staff was polite, but the overall condition and food quality left a very bad impression.

Almost every table was covered with dirty dinner castoffs . We found a semi clean table , and noticed that the tables remained dirty throughout our entire dinner. On top of that, this location does not live up the standards of other Round Tables. The pizza was crap. We’ve had superior pizza at all other Round Tables

*Edit: I have to say these are good people running this restaurant. I had an issue which you can see in my first post but the owner asked me to leave the original review up. The owner Roger called me personally the next day and asked if he could still provide my family with the pizza order at no cost and he was very apologetic for what happened. The reality is there’s a lot of demand here in West Sacramento and mistakes happen. I will 100% order from here again just based on the customer service.
If I could give this place a zero I would!! It was better when the round table orders were deferred to the other location. They clearly have no organization, professionalism or competent people working or owning this establishment. I ordered over $100 worth of pizzas at 4:30….finally called at 7:00 and asked where they were and apparently they messed up the order and marked it as dine-in which they clearly made up the excuse on the spot.

I quit going to this round table years ago and even met with the distric manager to discuss the downward spiral this location was going. I saw the positive reviews with the new opening and ownership so decided to give it a try. Pizza was excellent and actually looked like the advertisement picture, which is a rarity. I will definitely be back!
