Excellent service, excellent food, and atmosphere is a little loud. It is worth it for the great food and service.
Live music on the weekends. Just wished the music had started earlier than 9 pm. Dunnellon is a small, quiet town. Let the music start at 6:30/7-10/11

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Foods have been 100% awesome that I have tried. Once time my pretzel was a little overcooked, but they’re a quick bake time. I’m sure Cook was grabbing another dish, and they had 3 seconds to long. Still delicious, just crisper than their norm.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
They have a separate dining area, or you’re welcome to eat at 2RIVERS bar also. Expect 2 separate bills, one for the bar, one for the restaurant. Best bartenders around, fast, efficient, and friendly smiles. Servers from the restaurant also serve at 2RIVERS bar.

Visiting family and they took us here for dinner. Server was attentive and friendly! Food was delicious, fresh, with decent menu selection, good size portions, and even offer daily specials! Pricing was also affordable & Sweet tea was tasty! Bit cold when we came in November, but there is a nice dining area on the screened in patio. Highly recommend eating here…we enjoyed our meal!

I want to give this place a 2 or 1 but I cannot look past the food and quality.
Yesterday night my husband and I placed a take out order. When my husband placed the order I arrived there rather quickly so I waited in my car about 12 minutes before walking in.
When I walked it I wasn’t greeted with much excitement. “How can I help you?” I explained to the take out woman I was there to pick up an order. “Are you with DoorDash?” “No..” I stated. She then says “are you sure you’re in the right place?” How rude! She was rude from the start. When I laughed at her and said yes I am she then looked at her phone and began cursing and apologizing but the damage was done. Now she’s constantly saying sorry sorry sorry and trying to make up for it but she was only kind to me when she noticed she messed up. She blamed her watch, blamed not knowing because of the system, blaming everyone but herself.
The cook was quick, he followed me into the building. He was taking a smoke break when I was sitting in my car and as soon as he saw me walk up he was on it. He dropped food quickly and he is the ONLY reason this review is a good one. The food is always fantastic when we come. He gave us fat wings, sauced them well and he came out with the food. The take out girl didn’t bother checking or going into the back to get the food. He even began bagging then asked her to come finish. She again gave some excuse while bagging the items. Got home and found out the 3 ranches we paid for weren’t all ranches. She couldn’t even do that! She gave us blue cheese! Whoever worked take out last night was rude and needs to work on her customer service more. Well only be back because the cooks are damn good and kind

THIS PLACE IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST AROUND! Keith took care of us this evening, he was quick friendly and professional. This little hole in the wall did not disappoint! Best burger, awesome grits, coleslaw was fire! There is a bar attached next door for adult bev if wanted. Super awesome place!

Roughstock Grill was a happy surprise of yummy food and decent service. First impression was of a very friendly server, who has a similar look to a young John Travolta. With jet black hair and backwards ball cap, this young man was a tad overly friendly sitting at our booth, but his charming smile, demeanor and prompt service quickly erased the awkwardness of him sitting at our booth to “take a break for a minute”. We tried the onion petals, nightly special of fish tacos and shrimp and grits. The blackened shrimp tacos were tasty. The coleslaw on it was delicious slightly sweet, appropriately savory. Clearly the chef has no problem with seasonings which is a refreshing change from the made for the masses bland food. Unfortunately they were drowned in sauce which took away from that good fresh taste and perfect coleslaw crunch. Still worth ordering again just ask for less sauce. The shrimp and grits were the best I’ve ever had! A perfect combination of creamy yummy grits with balanced seasoned shrimp. I can’t wait to return just for this dish! The sides of red beans and rice and jambalaya were well seasoned but a tad dry. I’d probably opt for different sides next time. Overall we were very satisfied with our first visit to Roughstocks grill. We’ll definitely be back and we encourage others to give them a try to support our small town businesses!
