Went to have brunch with a girl friend visiting Philly; our seats, right at the window, were great! The whole restaurant was packed! Food was great! I had sparkling water, jasmine tea (they bring you a whole kettle), grilled chicken sandwich, and chocolate chip cookies! Only drawback was that the music was too loud. I couldn’t hear my friend or even the waiter properly!

We went for Sunday brunch. I had the corn and shrimp chowder and it was wonderful. The pirogies were different from grandmom’s in dough and filling, but were good.
The coctails were excellent.
The chicken pot pie wasn’t very good at all. My first thought was bagged frozen vegetables and chichen that was first boiled and used for stock. The hamburger my wife got was impossible to pick up and hold, probably becase there were too many caramalized onions. It was knife and fork food.

I’m sorry, but the food was really disappointing this time. We ordered the roasted chicken, and it was completely undercooked the inside was still pink and not safe to eat. I honestly wouldn’t go back to eat here after that experience.
However, I’ve been here before just for drinks, and their cocktails were actually pretty good — that’s the only positive thing I can say about this visit.

First time here but have heard about it a number of times before. Was suggested by a good friend who typically has good restaurant/food recommendations and who I was meeting up with for dinner that day, so I we went here. Had a reservation, which was good since it was packed and busier than I thought it would be on a Tuesday night. Host and server were both very friendly, welcoming and helpful during our dining experience.
We got a couple of apps to share + Shrimp Cocktail and Calamari. Seafood for both were very fresh, everything was presented well and had good taste. Didn’t originally plan on getting a drink but decided to get one and, at the recommendation of our server, I got the Passion Icon*Frozen* drink. It was perfect and refreshing for that extremely hot summer day, and had a great balance of sweet and liquor. For my entree, I went with the Herb Chicken Sandwich which was much bigger than I expected when she brought out the plate. Had a good cook, chicken was still juicy with some light flavor to it.
All in all, good dining experience. Would see myself going back for drinks, maybe try some more apps and a couple entrees I saw that were of interest.

The salmon toast was really delicious.
The roast pork was delicious, everything went well together
The American breakfast was simple.
The burger was fine, we ordered medium but it was well done but generally a decent burger.
The fries were perfect, crispy and right amount of salt.

I ordered one of their popular dishes, The Rouge Burger. It was perfectly cooked (med well) I can’t remember eating a more juicy burger… I loved it so much My cocktail choice was Hibiscus Margarita. It wasn’t spicy at all but after drinking two, my tipsy meter was beginning to rise The service was exemplary – my server Amber was very professional, attentive, and friendly!! I highly recommend Rouge if you haven’t gone here already. I will be back, shortly!!!!

My friends and I recently visited Rouge Café in Pennsylvania for lunch, and it was a mixed experience. The food was incredible, especially the charcuterie plate with its tantalizing flavors. The avocado toast and salmon toast were also delicious. However, the service definitely needs improvement. Our server forgot about our order and took forever to refill our water. The mimosas were okay, but the bloody Mary fell short. The gelato was decent but not exceptional. With some attention to service, Rouge Café has the potential to be outstanding.

I’ve seen A LOT of reports from different people who say they felt unsafe here after experiencing symptoms consistent with being drugged. While I can’t verify these claims myself, the number of similar allegations makes me uncomfortable and I would not recommend drinking here.
I’ve seen reports from both women and men and reports of it occurring both in the daytime and nighttime.
I think it’s important for others to be aware and make their own informed decisions about safety.

Nice outdoor seating that allows for fun people watching. Kind and thoughtful service from staff as a whole. It took a while to get our meal but they were busy throughout the night and still accommodating/ present throughout. The burger did not disappoint Gruyere cheese, jammy carmalized onions, a touch of fresh pickles made it memorable!! Get table fries to share!
