We went in on a Friday night and ordered a few pizza’s, one of them was a deep dish, the food was good and the service was also fine aside the long wait times, we couldn’t finish almost any of the deep dish so we took it home. after starting to eat the pizza we took home, my wife almost choked on a rubber hair tie, it was the most disgusting and disappointing experience, then when we called in to notify we got hanged up on by the “Manager”. Safe to say we are never coming back…

This was my first time eating here. The restaurant was very clean and service was top notch! Now on to the food……. We had the original cheese sticks for an appetizer with marinara sauce. Extremely cheesy and flavorful. We also ordered the deluxe combination pizza as the entree and honestly it was one of the best pizzas I have had. Sauce was rich and smooth the toppings were fresh and tasty and the crust was absolutely amazing!

Stopped in for pizza and pasta after a long day of travels. Waited awhile to be acknowledged and seated, once we ordered all of our entrees arrived at different times. Pizza crust was crispy and good on the outside but soggy in middle. Arrived lukewarm. It seems like a great place, but we just had an odd experience. Possibly understaffed the night we visited.

Arrive before 5:30 pm, if you don’t want to wait. They don’t take reservations, which is confusing because the East Memphis store does accept reservations. Also, when you call the number from the website, they don’t verify which location you want.
The food is good, and pricey. That’s a high rent district. I prefer Memphis Pizza Cafe for pizza, but it’s a different style. The fried shrimp tacos are good. I will go back if someone else is paying. The seating area feels cramped. Be careful in the parking lot. They do have outdoor seating, which is good for kids.

Rotolo’s is such an amazing place for date night or family night. I’ve been twice and each time I’ve loved it. Night time is my favorite time to go because of the beautiful patio with the string lights and atmosphere. Kids have the freedom to move around more freely while the adults get to enjoy themselves as well. And I can’t forget out the food or drinks. The food is always fresh and hot. My favorite new drink from Rotolo’s is Good Boy. I’m not a big drinker but these are sooo good because you can’t taste the alcohol. If you’re ever in the area, give Rotolo’s a try. You won’t be disappointed!

I was very disappointed. I ordered a Detroit style pizza add tomatoes over the phone. There was clearly a miscommunication because when I got there, I was given a first timers with no tomatoes. When I mentioned it to the server she was not apologetic and was even annoyed that I had mentioned the mess up. The total cost for the pizza and the salad was $42, she took the first timer pizza back and I waited for 45 minutes for them to make the Detroit style pizza which is seven dollars less than the first timer Pizza when they finally brought out the corrected Pizza. There was no manager on site to refund me the seven dollars. I get back to my hotel and open my pizza and my salad and was just as disappointed it looked nothing like the photos displayed on their website. The pizza was way over sauced and the crust was FULL of grease.
I returned the next day because that is when they told me the manager would be at the location, I get there and they told me the manager wouldn’t be there for 30 minutes so I waited. The district manager/ owners name was Riley and as I explained what happened he was also not apologetic and extremely annoyed, instead of apologizing for the poor service he blamed me for not being more specific over the phone ( per what his server told him ) I am very clean on what I want because I order the same thing every single time I order a pizza. He refunded me my money and I was thankful for that, but I will not be returning, I have never had so much of a hassle at a restaurant before.

We arrived just before 5 pm with our family of four and were seated near the front of the restaurant. At the time, the place was maybe half full. We sat there patiently for nearly 10 minutes while at least four different staff members walked by without making eye contact, acknowledging us, or saying anything at all.
We ultimately decided to leave and go to another pizza place down the street. This is the first time I’ve ever walked out of a restaurant. I would have been completely understanding if they were busy, or if someone had simply said, “We’ll be with you in a moment,” but we received no acknowledgment whatsoever. It genuinely felt like we weren’t wanted there.

I’ve really enjoyed everything I’ve tried here—wings, turkey burger, and pizza have all been excellent. The food always comes out fresh and flavorful, and the menu has something for everyone. The waitresses are consistently friendly, attentive, and helpful, which makes the experience even better. Great spot for a casual meal with good service. Highly recommend!
