I was completely satisfied with this restaurant. So happy I decided to try it out. I ordered the boneless chicken with cabbage with roti on the side and a double. I was pleased with my choice. I loved the double with chick peas. My daughter had curry in bone chicken with pumpkin and roti on the side. She loved her meal. I ordered a side of chick peas to go. It’s also a BYOB for those who enjoy a drink with their meals. The workers were very nice and friendly especially Andy. I will definitely go back.

Great Trini spot for sure. I’m from New York and I have to say this place is by far the best I have ever had. I was visiting for the weekend and I had to come back and buy more food to take back home. Definitely worth the 2 hour ride from New York to Roti Plus. The staff is great and so friendly. They make you feel like home.

I have been to a bunch of Trini spots and this by far is one of the best! I never give out five stars unless I have visited a restaurant 3 times or more. That way I can gauge the consistency of how they operate. Each time I paid them a visit the food has always been fresh and full of flavor. The restaurant has always been clean and the staff has always been friendly. I will definitely be back again and again.

People! Let me tell youuuuu!!! I am not in any way shape or form exaggerating about this food being the BEST TRINI FOOD I HAVE EVER TASTED!!!! The ingredients are obviously extremely fresh! No short cuts whatsoever. The meat is obviously top quality. Tender, perfectly seasoned to the point you’re so full but can’t stop eating. The restaurant is immaculately clean, the Customer Service by the owner himself was welcoming, inviting, warm & kind. The location is in a nice area with free head on door to door parking. Now as for the Roti….all I can say is buttery & out of this world made with pure LOVE as the main ingredient. You must go support this brother! Take your family there, friends, co workers, etc. I mean you won’t have any regrets!! I rate this place a 100%!!! I am a 1st time customer in NO WAY affiliated with this business. I just had to talk about it because this right here…is genuine cuisine! The prices are way better than other similar restaurants that charge $22.50 for a curry goat platter that cuts corners and can NEVER COMPARE TO ROTI PLUS. Please, don’t take my word for it & try it. I’m a Puerto Rican great cook who uses quality ingredients when cooking. Roti Plus is #1 compare to my own cooking. I better stop now because I will fill this page praising this place & get banned off Google. Lol

This is the spot for any islander to get some real home cooking . During this trip I had doubles with everything and it’s five stars. Also bought couple of home snacks and bakery items. I truly can’t wait for the next time. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. At the moment there is no better spot in Jersey! It’s a must visit!!! Update this place still is the best in Jersey months after my first visit!

The food is delicious! The doubles was so good, it was my first time trying so I was unsure of what chutney to get and went with their most popular (tamarind I believe) it was great next time I’ll ask for hot pepper sauce for some extra spice. Also the chicken pattie was literally the best pattie I have ever had in my life!

We fell in love with Roti Plus and you will too. Excellent island food, Trinidad style. My favorites are the bone-in chicken curry, curried potatoes, rice and beans, and an excellent sauteed cabbage. Of course, the roti is famous (we prefer buss up shut/ paratha), but they offer an amazing dhalpuri as well. I’ve also tried the stewed beef, oxtail, curried shrimp, and curried chick peas (every dish was fresh, delicious, and full of flavor). Treat yourself to a Solo champagne cola while you’re there and maybe a slice of cassava pone. Mostly set up for to-go orders, there are several tables for dining-in. Friendly staff and a welcoming clean environment. A real treat!
