We are a coffee shop and cafe that roast fresh coffee daily right here in State College. We also have a breakfast and lunch menu with toasts, fresh baked pastry items, sandwiches, and smoothies. One of my favorite weekend breakfast spots in State College. The Americano is super smooth and never tastes bitter, which I really appreciate. I usually get it with the avocado toast, and it never disappoints. The avocado is fresh, the greens add a nice peppery bite, and the toast is perfectly crisp. It is simple but really satisfying. Definitely my go-to place when I want a relaxed weekend breakfast at Rothrock Coffee

Food: 4.5/5 ✨ – Definitely better than your average biscuits! A little char, but we don’t mind it (that’s a matter of taste – I’m sure you can request a light toast to the biscuit). The lattes are nice (regular and vanilla – the vanilla latte, when paired with oat milk and 2 packets of Sugar in the Raw, tastes almost chocolatey – I definitely recommend it )

The lady at the register was so rude. I ordered a toasted marshmallow latte and then watched the barista fill the cup up 99% full with milk. When trying it, it was ghostly white, basically just flavored milk with barely any coffee flavor or sweet flavor. Do not recommend. Cute atmosphere but don’t love the coffee.

The bad reviews on here are LIES. All the staff are incredibly nice and accommodating!! I love all their toasts and special pastries, you can tell they put a lot of thought into making the idea and actually executing it!! They are also locally owned and care a lot about coffee unlike chain coffee shops that are just there for a cash grabs. I love their matcha!! That’s probably my fav drink from there def recommend!!

It’s one of my favorite coffee places here. The coffee is good. I don’t have pictures but I tried their biscuit and jam and their cookies and they were all good especially the biscuit and jam. It can get loud and a bit crowded at times, but it’s spacious enough compared to other cafés.

Today I went in and ordered the protien shake. I waited over 13 minutes and it was never made while everyone behind me got their drinks. I was told someone else grabbed my drink even though they never made it. They offered me someone else’s shake and didnt apologize for their mistake. I asked for a refund and they failed to return the points I used. Horrible customer service. Ill be going back to get my refund for the points later today.

My friend raved about the lox toast, so I got to try it today. It’s really yummy. I love bagels, but it’s nice not to have all the carbs. The veggie cream cheese, cucumbers, and red onions really perfected this dish!

This was so close to my hotel that I had to try it. It was really the Lox toast pics on Yelp that brought me here!
The front counter person was so nice and friendly. Every time I had questions he was so informative and friendly! I wanted to try the Darjeeling earl grey with steamed milk and a touch of honey (I know it’s a “London fog”). It was fabulous! I also got the whole milk latte and the lox toast. It had veggie cream cheese, salmon, cucumbers and picked onions. Exactly what I needed after my long flight the night before and a workout.
It was kinda crowded around 1:15pm ish and died down a lot around 1:30. There were a lot of people using their laptops on the benches inside and limited seating outside. I was able to snag a bench top inside looking into the parking lot.

I come to State College often for work. This coffee shop needs to find a way Northern Virginia. I can’t wait to get my Cappuccino tomorrow and for the rest of the week. Great coffee great breakfast choices! I look forward to it every time I come.
