Tried Rosy’s Mexican Grill & Bar in Poquoson for lunch and it instantly became a new regular spot. I ordered the Special #5 the burrito and enchiladas and everything came out hot, well-seasoned, and packed with flavor. My wife had the beef taco salad, which was fresh and generously portioned. We also grabbed the guacamole dip, plus chips and salsa. The chips were perfectly crisp, and the salsa hit that sweet spot of fresh and savory.

Tried Rosie’s for the first time (as it was recommended to us from other locals), and have to say, the hype is worth the trip. Fast, very friendly service, and the food we ordered is amazing!
Starting with the standard salsa (great flavor but not too spicy) and chips, through the burrito fajitas and enchilada gringa (and perfectly done rice), we couldn’t believe we finished our plates. Very good sized portions.
My own personal drawback was they don’t have beer (yet, as of end of September). But don’t let that stop you from checking out Rosie’s and supporting this local business.

Just ate here for the first time and it was so good! Their house margaritas are made in house with their own recipe. No watered down drinks here! Food is authentic Mexican, generous servings and service is efficient and friendly. A proud mom & pop run organization. Y’all come out and support them. They are working hard to make their place a success. Highly recommend.

I’ve eaten in and taken out, both times were amazing. The Birria tacos are my favorite but there are plenty of other great things on the menu. Nice little spot for a great meal. I would definitely check it out.

Best Mexican food this side of the Mississippi. Somebody wrote a review stating that they don’t offer alcohol which is not true. There is also a full bar and a complete drinks menu. The margaritas are especially good. The food itself is fresh, well seasoned, very reasonably priced with the service world-class. I would drive hours to get this food, it is that good. I cannot recommend it enough.

Tonight was my first visit to Rosy’s and it was okay at best. This is a 21 and older restaurant only, so you can’t take your kids there. The atmosphere was so-so, the pictures on the wall were “cartoonish”, the walls need a good paint job and the furniture looked like it was bought from a thrift store. There’s no real design to this restaurant. They have beer taps but no beer on tap, only bottled beer. The food was good, not great as my rice was cold. I might go back in a few months to see if they’re fully set-up and have developed a real design instead of just a big room with tables and chairs.

⭐ 10/10 experience! The food was absolutely delicious, and the servers, including the owner were incredibly nice and attentive. The portions are huge, and the music was great! My husband works at NASA, and because of the government shutdown, they generously gave us our meal for free . I’ll definitely be back with more family once we can afford to eat out again. This place truly deserves all the support from our community! ❤️

Thankfully the last owners got the message and moved on. Went here for lunch today the salsa was excellent and the lunch steak burrito was great. The steak in it was seasoned and was good. I will certainly be back.
We had a chance to meet Rosy she seems nice and is trying to make this a.nice spot. Well worth a try.

The pros: service was helpful, kind, polite. Atmosphere was modern and clean
The cons: food was ok , but factor in the price and it becomes below average quickly. Paid 4.50 per handmade taco, my torta had less meat than a 6 inch philly cheese steak and cost 6 dollars more. I can’t say any one dish blew me out of the water unfortunately.

Just tried Rosy’s on Sept 27 with take-out. I tried the previous Chiri’s once and from I remember it was fine. Today, we decided to go all out with a smorges board of food, total of $76 (for you to ultimately decide the priciness). We got the Crazy Jalapenos and Queso Fundido. We should have stopped there bc both of us couldn’t stop eating the appetizers. Both were so delicious (sorry no pictures as we were so hungry we couldn’t wait to dive in-will take pics next time). So far, A+. So then we tried the main entrees of Chipotle Burrito and Alambres. The burrito was fresh and the chicken was top quality. The sirloin in the Alambres was also above average in quality. Pita made it well rounded. Now, we are at a A++. I was so full I couldn’t try the carne asada tacos but they also looked out of this world. I will be crushing those later! We were very impressed to say the least. You can go somewhere else for free chips and salsa, but you will not get the quality and deliciousness like Rosy’s. First impression could not be better! Great addition to this small town.
