I ordered the 2 gorditas with rice no beans and a piece of strawberry cake. The food was pretty good as I was at a new Dr and wanted to try food in the area. The customer service is spectacular!! The young man was very helpful. The strawberry cake had real strawberry filling. The restaurant is nice, clean and colorful I love it!

Moving reviews over from Yelp. This was from October 2019 but I’ve been to both of their places numerous times since and think they’re top-notch!
In for a business lunch but I’ve known my guest for years and he’s used to me taking pictures of food so I managed a few shots.
I had a torta, mainly because I love tortas and see them as a differentiatior between the shitty Mexican restaurants (those that serve Americanized food covered in cheese) and the more authentic places. I was expecting them to have used the same teleres bread that most of the taquerias in the area favor – pretty sure it comes from Diana’s Bakery on Cherokee Street. They didn’t. Instead, the bread was a good bit smaller and more spongy. Not better nor worse, just different than I expected.
For the filling, I went with chicken and asked for a little chorizo (they have an option where you can add a meat for a buck) and found it pretty good. The chicken was a bit over-cooked and not shredded as I expected. Not better nor worse, just different than I expected. Overall, the torta was good but I’m going for the tacos on my next visit.

Delicious food, service was fabulous and there were plenty of tables. From the second we walked in the door, staff was polite and very accommodating. Chips and salsa were served immediately, took our drink orders, and order was taken promptly. Will definitely return to try other food items

I needed someone to make a gluten free cake for 20 people and every bakery I called either said that they didn’t do that kind of thing or needed a week. Rosy said she had never tried but would give it a shot and call me back. She made a test cake that she was very happy with and so baked a beautiful chocolate gluten free cake and had it the next day. She is a very nice lady and I cannot recommend her enough.

This is a reliable place to get tacos. I haven’t tried the cakes yet, but they look delicious, so keep that in mind when looking at my star rating. We ate in, and the atmosphere and service were functional but not cozy or particularly decorative. I just thought I’d mention it if you’re someone who looks for ambience. It’s OK, though, because I think the bulk of their business is carryout. They have an extensive menu, and they offer several deals/family meal bundles.

Okay I want to start off with the working service, the workers are so kind, I asked so many obvious questions and took a while to order my food, but they were patient and the food was so good. I genuinely think the cooks are seriously talented. I love the decor of the place, it is very clean and well put together. The eponymous “hole in the wall” location. We discovered this couple years ago when they had 1 new location. We don’t live in the area but their food was good enough back then that we wanted to return… and when we finally did we weren’t disappointed. It was so good that I ordered 2 entrees and ate all of both! I didn’t even need a to- go box. That doesn’t mean small portion sizes either. Oh, and I also highly recommend their tres leches cake which is delicious.
