I went to Rossini’s the first time when I was in college back in the 90’s. I am very very fussy about pizza, and was leery to try a new place, but I was with friends and they insisted the pizza was good. They weren’t wrong, it was incredible… 30 years later I travel from Ellington, CT (about an hour drive) numerous times a year to have their pizza. In those 30 years, Cheryl has been a waitress there and is one of the best servers I have ever met. She is very friendly and always smiling. Management must be very good to their employees if Cheryl has stuck around for so long and continued to stay upbeat and kind.

Food was great, delicious pizza and more! Service was great as well! Only down side was it was 40° in the dining room. Our server had to wear a puffy coat! Plates for appetizers were as cold as ice! It definitely took away from the dining out experience. Not sure if the furnace had broken or what but it was bone chilling cold!

My husband and I went there recently and I must say the food was excellent. We both had burgers and they tasted like they just came off the grill and we’re done to perfection.
When entering we were warmly greeted and we were directed to a table. The table was clean, floors clean, warm, friendly atmosphere. The prices were fair well worth the price.
We felt right at home and weren’t rushed in any way.

I’ve been eating here for decades. Sorry it took me so long to leave this review, but Rossini’s is hands down the best pizza in this area and I’ll put them up against new haven any day. Easily top 3 in CT and their entrees and apps are also awesome. The hot n tasty (or anything with their stuffed hot peppers) is next level. Can’t emphasize enough how awesome this place is, love you guys!!!

This is our second visit to this great restaurant. The Bada Bing was so good the first time I ordered it again. Fresh toppings, the hot honey drizzle is fantastic. So this pizza has some heat. Wait staff is awesome. Good selection of draft beers and cans. My wife ordered a gluten free crust that she said was good. I selected a medium size that I ate for days. Going back again.

Just visiting wife’s uncle. Stopped in for lunch. Fantastic CT style. The crunchy charred crust was perfect!!! I would give the pizza 5 stars on its own. It’s all I got so I can’t give an overall 5 star rating since I didn’t have anything else (I try to be fair). But the pizza was top notch!!

Called in an order and was given a wait time of 1 hr 45 min for two large pies (margherita and clams casino) with an order of fries. Pizza was good, but it was a type that to me is almost better reheated. Could be me, as I am a regular at the New Haven area top tier apizza restaurants (home base for me would be Roseland Apizza in Derby). Crust was a little doughy, but toppings were good as well as the sauce. Would probably order well-done if we are back in the area.
