It’s a little disappointing to write this, but although this is normally my ‘go-to’ bakery for birthday cakes, etc, I think this will be the last time. I actually contacted another bakery in the area before calling Rosita’s, but they were going on vacation. I called them because I was less than impressed with Rosita’s the last time I got a cake from them. Anyway, I didn’t have much choice if I was staying local so I called them 5 days ahead and ordered a very simple cake, round cake. Stopped in Friday afternoon, as I told them I would, to pick it up. Well, it wasn’t ready – had not even been frosted/decorated yet. She said “Give me 5 minutes.” I watched as they took the cake layers out of the walk-in cooler and then bring them where I could not see anything else. Long story short, they DID bring a decorated cake out within 5 minutes. I would have preferred different pastels but because I did only specify pastels in my phone call, I had to settle for the cotton candy pink that I got. Definitely not my favorite pastel. Anyway, later that evening had a piece – dry. Same issue I had last time I ordered. So, that apparently was not a one time thing. My cake again was dry and so very underwhelming. I will no longer be getting my cakes from them.

Awesome pastries!!! I purchased the Cheese Pocket and my girlfriend bought a donut and both were amazing!! I like the fact that they also offer breakfast sandwiches and subs. Will have to come back and try them as well.

Rosito’s Barkery has been around for years and a business doesn’t survive in this area unless it’s exceptional. I’ve personally known the family and shopped at this place since I was a teenager. They’re quality is great and tastes fantastic. Good prices and great service. Support local businesses, especially this one. You won’t regret it.

Wonderful pastries, bread and hardrolls. Friendly neighborhood bakery with great prices. Get there early for the best selection. I recommend the cinnamon twists and Danish (especially to share), and the quesitos are great (try then with guava!).
