Rosita is one of the most famous restaurants in the area, and we came here recommended by our accommodation. The service was exceptional: friendly, professional, kind, and quite fast.
We ordered the tuna with passion fruit and the camarones. Both dishes were delicious and very good quality. Their fresh juices are also excellent and worth trying.
They also offer a midday menu, which is a nice option if you’re looking for something good at a more affordable price.
Definitely a solid choice if you’re eating in the area.

This is a wonderful place! The daily menu, priced at $7.50, includes soup, a main course, and dessert—everything is delicious. In the evening, the food is just as amazing, offering master chef quality at reasonable prices. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. Highly recommended!

The restaurant itself looks nice but the service is lot to be desired. If you come as a big table they will focus on you and bring your food out quickly, however we went as a couple and they basically ignored us. We waited for 2 chicken soups for >1 hour while a big table of 20 people came and they brought out their soups within 15 minutes. When I asked where our food was they said it was coming but after another 15 minutes we got tired and left to go to another restaurant, as it was a bit overpriced anyway (and we were hungry).
Also if you speak little to no Spanish it’s quite hard to communicate with the staff.

But, Rosita’s stood a with beautiful dining area. Everything is nice and clean. A bright and happy atmosphere. This a family run businesses.
They have a complete menu, starters, main, salads, desserts , drinks, beer and local freshly made juices. We had a local fish, which was amazing. The service staff were nice and friendly. But, most the food was amazing
Should you be in San Cristobal stop at Rosita’s take a load of your feet and have a great meal.
I will be returning.

Nice ecuadorian food, simple, tasty and good value. The staff were very friendly and keen to explain what was on the menu. We had the meat ball broth and the lobster fried rice, which came with a fresh juice and a little dessert

Excellent food. We had the chicken and fish with rice a salad and French fries. We purchased a package and this meal was included so not sure how expensive it is. We had soup and dessert as well. All of it was amazing. I am indian American so I always need my hot sauce. It was nice and hot. Perfect. I didn’t really need it on the food as it was very flavorful.

Simple restaurant in the main port area. Limited vegetarian options. The grilled eggplant was not enough and was very bland and rather tasteless.
