But we’ve been here three times. It was slammed the first time. Our meal still came out in the expected amount of time for eggs.
The second time it was slammed and we waited almost an hour. For eggs. Ina place you have to order at a counter. So no waiting on a server.
Today it was half empty. I ordered just eggs and toast and waited forty minutes. The man next to me laughed when he saw what I ordered because of how long it took.
None of the empty tables were bussed. I’m done eating and about to leave and the couple who ordered right before me just got their food.

We ordered the Garden Melt breakfast sandwich with a Yogurt Parfait. The sandwich was very tasty, but a little under seasoned. The Greek yogurt in the parfait is supposed to be vanilla honey, but it tasted plain (I’ve had plenty of plain and lightly sweetened yogurt). It was delicious after adding a little honey.
We also ordered a double shot of espresso, an ice chai tea latte, and a white mocha. They were all good. I’m a bit of a coffee snob. The espresso was decent; it tasted like a dark roast that was well extracted. The other drinks were good and were on par with chain coffee shops.
The parfait and drinks came in single-use containers even though we dined in. I would have preferred them to be served in washable bowls and cups. It seems a bit wasteful.
Overall the food and drinks were good. Service was excellent. If we weren’t from out of town, we’d definitely be back to try other things in the menu!
The first morning, was an absolute shizshow, the burritos were dry and the hash brown was so undercooked, it felt like I was eating defrosted hash brown that had just been microwaved.
The dude behind the counter was obviously flirting with the younger girl with blue hair, and I thought that was pretty entertaining.
The second day, I made sure to tell the guy to crisp up the dam hash brown and they did better. I am giving this place 3 stars because, well the food was free and they actually got that good fries if you know what I am talking about. That old Costco beer battered fries always hit the spot.
