One of my first interests, when I visit a new place, is to find one of those hole-in-the-wall restaurants that the locals like to visit. Rosie’s is one of those finds. If you’re going thru Elgin, TX, at around lunchtime and are in the mood for some Chinese-Vietnamese food, this place should be on your radar.

Great Asian food truck in Elgin. We had Pad Thai Chicken, and it was the best we have had in Texas. Also great pan fried pork dumplings. Large portions, moderate prices. On the west side of Goodwill on 290.

I ordered a little of everything. I got chicken pad Thai, spicy orange chicken, shrimp lomein and a pork bahn mi. Everything was fresh and delicious! I also got my food in 20 minutes. You can tell the food is made from scratch. The orange chicken had actual orange peels! The portions are awesome and prices are great. Bahn mi not pictured because my sister ate it too fast.

I ordered the orange chicken, wonton soup and egg roll, everything was delicious. The egg rolls were home made, the fried rice was some of the best I’ve had, very flavorful, light, and fresh. The meal was hot and I’d definitely recommend them.

Had the Sesame Chicken and it was Delicious, portions are Plenty and will fill you up. The price is on the cheap side which makes it even better. Only Asian food that have good reviews around the area.
