Was in town for a wrestling tournament. We arrived on a Sunday morning along with quite a few other wrestling families. They were a bit understaffed for our unexpected crowd.

The staff were really working hard and were very patient, professional and friendly. Breakfast was very good. Breakfast sandwiches with thick crisp bacon and light fluffy pancakes.

The building is old but very clean, comfortable, and charming. I felt this was much better option than a breakfast chain.

This was a very small town cafe. I found out while I was there that the cooks own the restaurant. The food was actually really good, however, we had to wait almost an hour for our food. It gets that busy in there. Are waitress was very kind to discount our bill due to the long wait. That’s was very sweet of her. Even during our wait she was always very attentive.

I appreciate local owners and businesses serving our community. I will start when I first walked in we were greeted with a smile and a hello. The cafe is medium sized but can accommodate many people. The menu has a wide range of options at reasonable prices. Jana was our server and understands customer service. Tim, I believe his name, is co-owner and friendly. He made time to visit and tell us about the place. Barry is outgoing and very professional. The cafe was clean and well organized. The food was good. I had the hot beef sandwich. Unlike chain restaurants, it had a homemade flavor and was perfect for warm me up lunch. My friend had the club sandwich and it looked good. Actually, the sandwich looked like pictures you see. Its presentation was perfect.
Overall, we found our go to place for breakfast and lunch.. Thanks

Best place to eat in sioux Falls if you want homely cooking at a decent price. You can’t feed two people on $20 anymore. I will keep coming here as long as their open.

Update (1-20-26)- The new owners made some small changes but it still feels the same. The food is still delicious as always.

The fried chicken sandwich had a light bread with a delicious remoulade. The chicken breast was very juicy as well.

The rosies club was very homestyle classic with a very good black garlic mayo.

The prices were alittle higher than they used to be but not by too much. Would eat again.

The atmosphere is inviting. The Staff is very Friendly and attentive to you. The Owners Chefs Tom and Berry are down to earth as well. They came out and engaged with us. Asked us how was the food. We loved it and got our money’s worth. There were a couple peoples complaining about the prices. To be honest with you all. The amount of food you get for the price is amazing. If you can go to Mickey D’s and spent almost $30 for their products. Then where can you get a full pledged home-cooked meal in a great atmosphere. If you haven’t tried them. Just go see and check them out for yourselves. Rock and Tracy Pickens from Omaha, Nebraska

One of the best benedicts I’ve had around Sioux Falls. Prices were reasonable and food came out timely.

This diner is a little hidden but when you walk inside there is a good comfortable atmosphere. Decor could liven it up a little more but they had good music playing and very welcoming. Food tasted very good and gave a good amount for their price.

I ordered breakfast sandwhiches for the office staff. They were so amazingly fresh and home made. Everyone was delighted by them. We will order more soon. So glad they are back in business!!

It’s cute – the staff are nice – but we had to happen to overhear there was a special- sadly it was a tough little steak with no sharp knives or steak sauce – no toast with the breakfast -we had to ask if they had cinnamon rolls- – it ended up being more expensive than other places – I hope it’s just a learning curve – breakfast potatoes and eggs were good
