Wow!!! What an absolutely fantastic restaurant!
We went here for breakfast/brunch – and I am truly blown away. The atmosphere is elegant, peaceful and classy. The restaurant is immaculate, and beautifully set out with comfortable chairs, cushions, and plenty of room at the tables.
The food is generous, delicious and stunningly presented on the plates.
Average spend at our table was $25/pp for a meal and a drink, which I found to be fantastic value.
The staff are quite lovely and professional.
Definitely put Roshni by Raj on your “must go to” list….. you won’t be disappointed!

The service is outstanding — five young Australians manage the restaurant and provide attentive, efficient, and professional service.
The menu is extensive (attached).
The food is excellent, and in the evening there’s no problem finding parking.

I visited Roshni for dinner, loved it so much that I came back for breakfast the next morning… and then couldn’t resist grabbing takeaway that night as well. Every single meal was outstanding. The quality of the food is truly exceptional, and the prices are unbelievably affordable for what you get.
I’m from Melbourne, and Roshni is the kind of place I’d expect to find in a big food city, not tucked away in Mackay. The décor and atmosphere are elegant and beautifully put together, but still warm, inviting and completely unpretentious. It has that perfect blend of refinement and comfort that makes you feel instantly welcome, and valued.
The service was just as impressive. The staff showed genuine care for their guests, with thoughtful attention to detail that elevated the whole experience.
An absolute standout. I’ll be back every time I’m in town.

An amazing dine in experience.
I did not have a booking however the host accommodated me. They did not get me in and the usher me out, he told me they are fully booked but have a table for an 40 minutes and if I was ok with that (respect deserves respect) we accepted the gesture and was done withing the 40 minutes. The staff were on hand to see that all was well and assist where thy could. Amazing staff with knowledge of the meals and offering suggestions. Polite and respectful in all aspects of service. The food was amazing. A different taste a different feel certainly addictive. If i had 1 critique, it would be that it seems the urries were made in the same sayce base. The atmosphere is incredible, calm and relaxed woth elegance and class. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Mackay. When you visit take the time to appreciate the service and food as it is brilliant.

Went there Saturday with a friend. Amazing place and amazing food. Though I do feel bad about not eating all my breakfast. Amazing drinks and food. The atmosphere was amazing and the staff were so nice. Definitely be coming back again.

The new breakfast menu at roshni is amazing!! I went there with a large group and every meal was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. The meals and drinks came out quickly, the staff were very attentive and you must try the freddocinos! 10/10 all round!!
