If you’re wanting some authentic local food, with exceptional service and a cultural setting, this is the place to go! From the moment I arrived the staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful with the menu, and as a solo diner never once felt like a pain.
I opted for the mixed seafood platter which was served in good time, a great portion size and was super tasty. The homemade hot sauce was an absolute treat and it was a struggle not to steal a bottle when I left!
Incredible value for brilliant food in a real local setting – one of the best dining spots in the area.

While visiting the island, we decided to check out this restaurant and it was the best decision ever! The food was Soooooo GOOD that we decided to eat here multiple times. The food was flavorful and very affordable. The service was top notch. We felt so welcomed and the staff was genuine. We had the jerk chicken, ribs, pan seared fish, rice and peas, plantains and lemonade.

My wife and I had a late lunch at Rosemary’s after we got off the ferry from Anguilla. I had curried goat – which was probably the best goat dish I’ve ever eaten – and my wife had fried fish. Their beer was very cold and their sides, including their coleslaw, rice and beans, and potato salad were very good as well. We would highly recommend stopping by If you’re in the area!!

Horrendous experience. We waited two hours after ordering at 7pm and still no food made it to the table by 9pm.
When I asked for the drink I wanted I was told the girl who makes it was busy and to order something else.
When we complained about the missing food and the long wait the staff were abrasive, argumentative and clearly overwhelmed.
After two tables who were seated long after us were fed we had had enough and asked to pay for our drinks. A shame as I had really wanted to try the food—we had heard great things.
Don’t go here at peak times unless you’re comfortable waiting hours for food. There were at least four other tables who were also complaining about the wait as we left.
No way to run a business. No way to treat paying customers. A real shame.

If you’re looking for authentic island flavors with warm hospitality, ‘Rosemary’s’ in Marigot is a must-visit. The staff here are incredibly friendly—they even let us store our bags safely while we explored the nearby market, which was a huge help.
We tried a few different dishes:
• The ‘goat curry’ was packed with flavor—tender, well-seasoned, and perfectly spiced.
• The ‘jerk chicken’ plate was another standout—juicy, smoky, and delicious.
• The ‘shrimp plate’, while decent, didn’t quite match up to the others and could probably be skipped.
Overall, the experience was fantastic. This place is highly recommended if you’re craving traditional Creole cuisine and a welcoming, local vibe.

Beautiful local spot on french side of St Maarten. All the stay were friendly and attentive. This was recommended to us as we awaited the ferry to Anguilla. I had the fried snapper with rice and peas and salad, oxtail gravy on the rice. I was pleased. However the alcoholic drink were a lil bland.

We ate here around 5pm on a Thursday evening. Service was attentive and pleasant. Price was affordable compared to other places. We ordered the curry goat and the jerk combo which comes with chicken and ribs. We also had the saltfish accras which were good. Food came fast and we were given wet wipes at the end to clean our hands. Overall I would recommend.

The best Local food you can ever ask for. Every dish I’ve ordered was so good. Oxtail dripping off the bone. The seafood stew was amazing! Definitely a go to when I visit the island.

This is the first restaurant we’ve ate off after we got off the plane. We were all starving and wanted something easy and tasty. Rosemary’s definitely worked for us. It was our first sampling of the local chicken, and ribs that we’re so common in the area. Great food!!

Rosemary’s is excellent! The oxtails are cooked to perfection! As Ms. Rosemary said herself, “I put God first and I cook with love. The seasonings and everything else fall into place!” She and her staff made my birthday very special! She sang happy birthday and they played the Stevie Wonder happy birthday song. May her business continue to be blessed!
