Very disappointed with Rosemarie’s recent quality of pizza. Have been eating their pizza for years and it was never this bad. I called the restaurant to tell them that their slices were too thin and they told me to call next time and ask them to make the crust a little thicker, and I said, it’s not the crust, it’s the whole pie. Their pizza is paper thin. The pizza barely covered the box it came in. So many other better choices in Farmingdale.

Wow, this place has changed and not for the better. This used to be a great friendly family owned establishment where you felt welcome and at home with great food and atmosphere. We returned last night to celebrate my late mother’s birthday. This was a favorite dinning spot for her. The drinks were weak to say the least. We mentioned it to the waitress that there seemed to be no alcohol in the drinks and were told we would be charged for a double if we wanted an actual drink. We passed. The food was good but sparse. No pasta side with the main meal or even a vegetable on the plate with a tiny piece of cheesecake for dessert.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! The pizza is absolutely incredible, perfectly crispy crust, rich sauce, and the right amount of cheese. The chicken rolls are stuffed generously and baked to perfection, making them a must-try. The zeppoles are fluffy, sweet, and melt in your mouth! Entrees are just as good. Highly recommend if you’re craving some seriously delicious comfort food!

The pizza is 10/10 but the entrees have disappointed us more than once. The chicken is boiled in one entree. Wings were mushy.

The fried calamari was enough to feed 3 and it was well made. Since it is Tuesday seafood night I ordered clam and mussels with a light red sauce, Ceasars salad and rainbow cheese cake. My hubby ordered fradiavolo, house salad and Italian cheese cake. For me the sauce on my dish was salty so really did not enjoy my dish. My husband’s dish was really good. The fried calamari delicious with the fresh made sauce. The rainbow cheese cake was to die for it was rich and it tasted like a rainbow cookie. The Italian cheese cake was good had a slight lemon flavor. The server was very attentive to our needs. At one point the restaurant got hot and some people were shifting to the pizza area. But all in all a great calm place to sit and enjoy a meal.
This time we went on a Monday pasta night for 14$ includes salad and dessert.
We were dissaointed. I was eating my otolana dish which is pasta with sun dried tomatoes chicken with garlic and oil. I was really enjoying my dish until I ate a piece of chicken. The chicken tasted spoiled. I asked my husband to taste it and he agreed with me.
My husband’s dish the noodles were over cooked and the chicken also tasted weird.
We were both surprised of this since we came in the past and the food was amazing.
It is unacceptable that a chef serve possibly spoiled food to its customer. Chefs responsibility is to cook fresh food and to make sure the plate is well prepped.
We did pay for our meal but we are not going back there.

Rolled in from out of town, AMAZING service and pizza on Long Island. HAVE to get Rosemarie’s grandma slice, the the garlicky sauce + fresh mozzarella is unbeatable with the thicker crust.
Sean was a delight and made sure we had a delicious and great experience. Even threw in extra snacks on the house, best pizza place in Farmingdale!

How else am I supposed to eat this, OPEN SESAME!!! Rosemarie’s Pizza is sesame seeds galore! They dont just sesame seed the edge of their pizza crust they cover the entire crust!!! Always ask for it welldone & always ask for Sprinkled basil on top before & after its cooked!!! Woooooooo!

Great pizza with a great staff. This place has been here for as long as I live here, and the food as the pizza is always good. Today, we only had the pizza , we ordered a regular and a grandma pie, they didn’t disappoint. BTW, I have lived around here for over 35 years.
