We had drinks and played pool and threw darts. If I have one complaint it would be paying $9.50 for a shot of Patron. Other than that it is a refreshing place to go!

My partner and I came to rosebuds from Wichita to see some friends perform in the local Drag show. We reserved a table in advance for $30, to make sure we had good seats. Once we arrived, we went to find our table. There were names written on boards on each table, and ours was nowhere to be found. I went and asked the bartender, and she knew where our table was. We were in the front, directly by the stage. People took over our reserved table and had erased our name. Ok, no biggie, it happens. The staff had them move and we were able to enjoy the show. We had a fun time, participating and tipping the performers as usual. I took out my compact to touch up my makeup, reapplying my powder to my face. We got up during the break to use the restroom and get a drink. The bouncer, Austin, rudely came up to me and started accusing me of using drugs while we were sitting at the table. Mind you, the table in front of EVERYONE! I showed him my compact and explained it was makeup, and he asked me “what am I gonna see if I go roll back the cameras?” I said exactly what I told you, and now I wanted to see the cameras. He refused and left. At this point I was angry with the situation, and reported it to the bartender. She was very nice all night and felt bad about the situation. Austin walked by, and I asked if he had the cameras ready to watch. He said he would just take my word for it. I insisted that we watch them, as I wasn’t going to stand for these foolish allegations. He told me we were lucky he didn’t kick us out. All things said, I will NEVER support or visit Rosebuds again. All we tried to do was visit a new city and try and support local entertainers.

The older short haired lady who normally ran the place was amazing and treated every equally. Went there tonight may 10 2025, new younger blonde bartender is not only horrible and completely ignores people she doesn’t know, she’s also incredibly rude if you walk out. Do not recommend this place anymore. Wrong people are being hired. Absolute garbage bartender.

Went again tonight for the show. Only thing that changed was with less people we waited longer for our drinks. Everyone getting alcohol got served. We waited 15 minutes for 2 pops while everyone around us got their alcohol. Otherwise the rest was the same. Great food & atmosphere.

Smallish bar. I like the service, and atmosphere, here. An older building. But, very nicely kept establishment. Nice patio out back, with large heaters, for those who smoke.
This place has an air hockey table, along with pool, darts, and a shuffleboard, that people seem to enjoy playing “beer pong” on. 🙂
The acoustics are unexpectedly good, for live music.
