A relaxing and delicious lunch at Rosebrook Bar with spectacular mountain views that made the entire experience feel extra special. We got:

HOT PRETZELS
Two oversized pretzels served with beer cheese and Tuckerman’s mustard. The pretzels were so good that I devoured the first one immediately and had to order a second before the meal was even over. They had a perfect golden crust with a warm, soft center, and the mustard was incredibly flavorful. Truly the best hot pretzel I’ve ever had.

HARVEST SALAD
A fresh, vibrant mix of arugula, spinach, strawberries, pickled peaches, blueberries, red onion, and sunflower seeds topped with grilled chicken and dressed in a maple lemon vinaigrette. The fruit added brightness, the pickled peaches gave a fun tangy twist, and the vinaigrette tied everything together with a sweet citrus finish. Light, but satisfying.

A wonderful lunch with generous flavors and unforgettable views of the mountains. Rosebrook Bar was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a truly memorable meal.

Nice place to have a drink with great views. Indoors so you are protected from the weather.
Service was slow.
Atmosphere with the views and charm of the Mount Washington Hotel built in 1902 was great.

Lovely place for drinks and a bite, with amazing view. Just wish a place of this standing would not use horrible, unsustainable single-use plastic cups and straws. And it would be a treat to be able to enjoy a specialty coffee, a proper latte, rather than just being served drip coffee.

Riley was the best server I’ve had since being in the north country for seven years. I can’t wait to come back to have Riley serve us. He made us feel so welcomed.
It was very awkward the whole “seat yourselves” thing… we had to compete with other patrons to get a seat for us and our 2 kids. Very challenging. I don’t want to feel as if I’m in a competition just to eat a meal with my kids. But once we fought for our table and got a server, Riley made us feel comfortable and welcomed. He was the only reason we would come back.

My wife and I were looking for something to eat and saw that Rosebrook was open until 9pm Sunday night. We arrived at 8:15. We ordered 2 apps and a drink.

Right away you can tell they were closing up. They were emptying the bar area, etc. then someone thought it was a good idea to start mopping with what seemed to be straight bleach, literally everywhere including under our table. I asked if we should move to the other side, she said no, she was just trying to get things done so she could leave early. I complained about the bleach smell, and she stopped and walked away. The smell was so strong we moved to the bar, which we were told that the bar was closing. By this point it was 8:30. I double checked the closing time and it was 9pm. I said we were just waiting for our food. At that point we were just about to cancel the order but we saw the waiter coming with the food.

I’m giving two stars instead of one only because the waiter was extremely nice. Another server told us that the manager spoke to the woman who was mopping. I would have expected the manager to come apologize but they just walked past us like nothing happened.

If the restaurant is going to treat customers poorly in the final hour, just close an hour early. It was very unprofessional and felt like a 2nd rate cafeteria, which is surprising for an Omni hotel. My recommendation is to eat early and brings snacks with you for later in the day.

We came for cocktails and to enjoy the view! We toured the historic hotel and then went to the Rosebrook Bar. We received excellent, friendly service. I cannot comment on the food as we did not order anything except for wine and beer.

The view is spectacular. I ordered the lunch special. The turkey bacon 1/2 sandwhich and squash soup were delicious. Almost too much turkey in it though. My drink was superb.

Fabulous service. Great views. And strong drinks. Mixed with the views and the perfect array of simple appetizers, this quaint little place is possible the beat little nook in the entire resort. Get the Charcuterie board and a double Lemon Drop with a sugar rim.

We went to have lunch and it was somewhat busy, It took over 10 minutes to order drinks, and another 15 to order food. I was supposed to get a tomato dip with my sandwich, I didn’t. The sandwich was lukewarm at best. The waiter left without asking if there was anything else. We had no napkins or utensils. Our waitress finally came back, and I asked for the dip, napkins and such. We finally got tools, napkins, and ketchup. Another 5 minutes go by and another waiter finally brings out the dip. It was tomato paste, and at this time my sandwich was cold. Never again!

Hummus was gross and sour, carrots were limp, Caesar salad was not too fresh, cheese plate was a joke. I wish I took a photo of the cheese plate. It was two huge triangular uncut pieces of cheese and half of some round cheese with bread cut in the middle. Whoever prepared that needs to go back to the culinary school and learn about presentation. It’s not just about food. It’s about presentation too. $189 for 4 people for lunch including 2 beers and one small wine, excluding tip. Unfortunately, there are not many places to eat at Bretton Woods when ski resort is closed due to high winds.
