I’ve been coming to Rose Hill for the better part of a decade but I think the price raises and portion sizes have gotten out of hand. $6.75 for a BEC with one egg and barely any bacon is criminal. I used to come excited to eat a great sandwich but the difference in price to size of sandwich compared to other local delis and diners has become comical.

I am astonished by the bad reviews I’m seeing – I find their prices more than reasonable and well worth it for what you get. I have always known about this deli, but not really visited. Recently I’ve been going more often for lunch and they are always busy, the food ALWAYS accurately made and delicious. Today I stopped in to see about placing a small order for delivery. It was nearing lunch time yet the owner, who could not have been nicer (I apologize for not knowing her name) took time out of her day to sit and help me figure out how much to order and the day to deliver. I cannot say enough about the great service I’ve always gotten, but this really brought it over the top.

The food was really good, but the service during lunchtime was disappointing. I walked in and stood at the hot food station, where I assumed I was supposed to order. Two employees looked directly at me but said nothing and continued doing their own thing. I waited there for about 7 minutes without being acknowledged.
I moved slightly down the counter, thinking maybe I was in the wrong spot. Then someone who walked in after me was greeted immediately and helped right away. That when I said I’ve been here waiting for someone to take my order. I told him I had already been waiting 10 minutes, and he just said, “The line starts over here”—which is exactly where I had been standing the whole time.
One of the ladies that was working there right away, realized it and took my order. She was really nice.
It’s a big guy ( clown) with a cross on his neck. seemed especially uninterested in helping me. If you don’t like your job, maybe it’s time to reconsider working in customer service. Food was great—but the attitude and lack of attention really took away from the experience.

Absolutely love Rosehill Deli. The owner is amazing and a pleasure to work with. Not only do I get lunch for myself there, but I coordinate company lunches for groups of 40 people and Rosehill is my #1 go to. Food is great, delivery is always on time and the catering menu has a nice variety, so I can keep things different each week.
